FOOD for the BED?

No big deal. We have a lot of this experience. Been hungry and sleepy at the same time? I'm a victim of the two yesterday. What I did, I eat and after that I browsed myLot for several minutes. Then I went to bed. What if I went to bed an empty stomach? Ever had the same experience like I did? Thanks

I know it is not good for us, but there have been times when I needed a little something before bed. I have these little cheesecake snack cups that I absolutely love in the evening. They have strawberries on the top of a delicious cheesecake mix. They are snack cups too so they are not so big that I am about to bust after having one. They really hit the spot. I have enjoyed a small bowl of cereal before bed too. I haven't had that in a while though.

I have been waiting for dinner and I slept off. I woke up and was not that hungry as I was before going to bed. Sometimes the hunger can be so intense that it would allow me to sleep off, so I have to wait for the food.

I always prepare some biscuits just in case i feel hungry in the middle of the night so when i am hungry i eat it and drink a glass of plain water if i ate too much usually i can't go sleep easily

I don't eat anything more after dinner, it is my habit,,if i am hungry i just drinka glass of water and then sleep well. I heard that eating before sleeping will make you easily to be fatter.

It is a good thing to have a snack and let it settle before going to bed. I woke up very early this morning, because I was hungry, I think.

I don't recall having that problem. As I know I have to behave and one shouldn't eat so close to bed time it's not good for your digestion. However, when I work the closing shift at work I don't mind chowing on an apple and mylotting til I'm sleepy enough to finally go to bed. But I try if I do need a lil something is to eat something light.

Apples can make me awake for hours though. Eating something light is a good idea. Thanks

I think most of us are guilty of it. It will be more difficult to sleep if our stomach's grumbling and craving for food. For me, if ever I do that I'll wait maybe an hour for the food to settle first even if I'm so sleepy before going to bed.

Yes, we should eat something so we could sleep. Though, when we eat we should see to it that we don't sleep immediately after that. We have to let the food be digested first for at least an hour before we finally go to sleep.

I also experienced that sometimes. There were even times that I ignored my hunger and went to sleep. It was alright going to sleep with an empty stomach.

It works for me too but I'll be a way hungry when I will wake up. That's why I eat something light before going to bed. Thanks

Many times I've eaten in bed or eaten right before I've gone to sleep. I have gone to bed hungry its no fun. I find it every hard for me to sleep or to fall a sleep. When I wake up I'm normally way more hungry then I am when I wake up and I've eaten right before I've gone to sleep or I wake in the middle of the night and have to get up and eat something.

If you went to bed with empty stomach for sure you get hungry in the middle of the night. Yes I did it too,I dont want to wake up that my stomach is hurting because I am hungry and I dont what to wake up feeling dizzy because of lack insulin in my body. But if can eat at all I drink milk to have a good night sleep and without feelin dizzy when I woke up.

Whenever I can't sleep, there is one of two reasons responsible: Adrenalin or hunger. So some nights I have to get up and go eat before I can sleep. My favorite is scrambled eggs and a small bowl of cereal. And who can go without the glass of milk? Then, I sleep like a baby.

I don't eat before I go to bed. It keeps me awake not puts me to sleep which makes a lot of sense if you think about it. Tc.
