I am watching a report of the kite festival in Oregon. They are absolutely beautiful and unique. They have colorful traditional-looking ones, big whale-shaped ones, and brilliant streaming kites, to name a few. Some people are even professional kite-flyers who compete to get inducted into the Hall of Fame. I haven't flown a kite since I was young and now really want to. When's the last time you flew a kite?

It's never too late to fly a kite, doroffee!! You don't have to be a child to fly or enjoy a kite. My best kite memories have occurred since I've been an adult.

We do also have kite festival before but nowadays people are no longer that interested. I wish that milk company organize kite festival again so that kids would see it. I'm a kite lover and i do make my own kite that made of old plastics or news papers. I flew it with my cousins at the park or beach. I miss those simple childhood life. Kids now are too busy with gadgets. I hope they will experience what we experience before, it's more fun. Why you haven't experience flying a kite? Does your dad not interested or no one is there to teach you? I do have neighbors who are very supportive to us. They are the one who influence me.

Hello ECH107
The Kite Festival in Oregon sounds very colorful and fun. I would like to see this.
The last time I flew a kite was around 2006. I used to love flying kites with my children. We loved to see how high we could fly them, and once we got one really really high. It was shaped like a stealth fighter and people were pulling over in their cars to look at it way up there.
Peace
