Why don't people do tasks on Mylot very often?

I usually post tasks on Microworkers and notice that many people do my tasks within a day. I posted my task on Mylot called "Fill in 4 fields. Simple. US ONLY" some days back and till date no one has done even 1 task. Although the pay amount here is higher than what i offer on Microworkers, people don't do any tasks here. I offered 0.05$ for this same task on Microworkers and many people did it within an hour but no has done done it here although im offering 0.10$ per task. Anyone knows the reason?

The first time I join mylot, I did several tasks.
It is actually in site where I started my small online writing career.
I have learned a great deal regarding online writing here.
Sharonbucks use to have several writing tasks for mylot members and it was good.
I participated with other writings as well.
However, I declined to do some tasks here these days because there are some requesters who do not pay their taskers

Check the ratings of the person and then go for the task. I pay all my workers on task completion.

it is nioce to hear that!
Aside from sharonbuck, I did some writing tasks for other requesters.
Some paid quickly but others ignored the payment.
Like you said, I have to check the ratings!
If I feel like doing the task now, I will do that for sure.

Hi elvismoraes19, I find more fun in typing post here more than doing task. I still could earn 0.10$ if I have leisure to join in the discussion which I'm interested. I did do myLot tasks before. The earning paid for task writing was high that time. I loved the 3$ and 4$ reward for per task writing 
It's worth to spend few hours for doing research and writing. But such task is no longer available nowadays.

People in microworkers get loads of tasks to be done and thus they would have the force to do as many as possible to reach the minimum pay limit.Here in mylot,there are not so many tasks available as that that will alone drive to minimum pay limit.Also,besides doing tasks,one can easily get the same amount of money by participating in discussions.I guess these two are the principle reasons for not participating in your tasks.

I have not looked at the tasks section in quite a while but when I was looking most of them were very tedious. It was almost not worth the pay out because I felt like I was in school all over again! Lol. I like enjoying my time here so the discussions I do enjoy.

I think that most people are not aware that they can actually go and do the tasks here on mylot. Maybe they only know mylot as some place to socialize with other people.

Well I don't live in the US and there are many here who don't but there would be a lot that do. I haven't really even looked at tasks that much, I looked once or twice but none seemed worth doing for 1 cent. And it looks like that you have to trust that the person will pay you once the task is done, so it's not automatically given. But I'm not all that sure, that could be the reason.
