Working with Amazon Mturk

Hi rollylolly, I was a Mturk member with good repute. After earning $1600 my account was suspended like many others without any notice or explanation. Till I have $218 due to them. Here are some advantages and disadvantages of Mturk as per my experience : Advantages : 1. You have to qualify by taking taking qualification test in Mturk. 2. You can earn a Bank Cheque (only for being Indian) and each cheque charges $4.00 Disadvantages : 1. If any client (requester) will complaint against you, they will suspend your account immediately without verifying whether it is true or not. They only supports the requester's side. 2. If you have been suspended, all of your earnings will be forfeited by them. While you are active member, customer service is very good to you. But if you are suspended they do not have any humanity to reply you for a single time while you will ask them the reason for 100 times. So, try going on. Hope you will find good with that site.

Hi there! I'm a member of mturk and I am happy with that site though I haven't earned that much yet since I have less time online and I've been having some eye problems lately. You have to read so many tasks available and choose what you can do and that made my eyes very tiring. Some tasks or hits are easy to do like the surveys and the copying of txt from a card(don't know if it is still available). I also did some Crowdflower hits and they pay quick. With regards to payment,you are lucky 'cause Indians are allowed to have their earnings transferred to their bank accounts. You can read their FAQ's for more info. Good luck to you and enjoy!

I have also joined Mturk way back, I am from the Philippines and unfortunately workers from our country won't be able to get cash from it but Gift cards, so I've decided to stop working from them, but I can say if ever that i'll continue working with me you can earn big money, but sadly i can't withdraw it, I think you need to check first if you will be able to withdraw or get money from them before doing some task. You complete task for pay, and the earning potential is decent but the task are sometimes to complicated also it can take a bit of time for the completed task to credit task rate can range from 0.1 cent to a $1.00 or $5.00 the task with the highest pay tend to be more difficult to complete so in my opinion Mturk is fair but not that good if you really want to earn some bucks.

Hi rollylolly, I have tried doing some task on mturk and to tell you the truth, mturk does pay its members and they have wide selection of tasks or jobs starting from .01 up to $15 depending on your ability and territory. It is just so happen that non-US worker cannot cash out their earnings thru paypal but only by amazon gift card. That is why I stopped working with them. But I believe Indian workers can cash-out their earnings, they have specified the instruction on their site (faq). That is because they have lots of Indian workers which is a good news for you my friend.

As you already know I'm not Indian, but I've been a member of Mturk for over a year now. It's a great site to use if you are looking to purchase things from Amazon. It's also good for adding some spare cash to your bank account. Your success on Mturk depends solely on how much time you are willing to put into it. I've read stories of people spending an entire day on there and earnings over $100 dollars. I personally do a few HITS a day. I mainly do the surveys that don't require a lot of time. There have writing jobs on there that are fairly easy to do as well. I've yet to have any real problems with the site. I would advise you to check out the site though. I joined the site, but I didn't find the tasks interesting. They were like joining different sites and so on. Moreover, if they are so strict, then I would better not go for it.

Hi rollylolly, I am a member in MTurk and I am from India. It is glad to say that MTurk pays in Indian rupee check to the Indians. I have reached up to $8 so far. Now I have to be more active in there to reach the pay out limit.

Well most people have had bitter experience with mturk for sure since they dont value the workers,they value only the requestors and i wasted most of my time and energy and ultimately at the end of the day even my dollars also.all went in to rubbles.its not safe to work there for sure anytime
