Why are guys so odd about dating and relationships? There have been times where my ex would get really weird and refuse to acknowledge me in public. It's not that big of a deal and he knew it would hurt me, but he would do it anyway. Why do men ruin relationships by refusing simple, obvious requests such as these?

Well, first offs, men are quite egoistic. They prefer to be men of action rather than saying what they feel. Maybe he showed you in some different way you do not know that he appreciates you. But what i think about what men should change is that they should voice out their feelings for the woman they love, not just show discreetly and to keep reassuring a woman that they are appreciated and loved. That's the man i want to be. Cheers for a happy relationship. :D
