I'm a long time Internet Explorer user though I had Firefox already installed I used IE8 a bit more often, right now I have windows XP on my laptop, and I wanted to switch to Windows 7, but it seems too complicated because you have to back up files and install drivers and all that junk, so instead of doing all that I decided to use Firefox as my browser and so far it works much better then IE8
Why did I switch? because Lately I've noticed that a lot of my favorite websites are no longer compatible with IE8 I have had issues logging into sites and other related issues, so I removed the program and kept my Firefox and decide to use the Firefox browser instead
Have any of you recently switched from internet explorer 7,8, or 9 due to issues if so please share your experience?

I am a Firefox user. I switched to Firefox from Chrome about 2 years ago. The last IE I used was IE7 and I never used IE again after I experienced Chrome and Firefox. IE was not that good in version 7 but the version 8 has improved a lot. I like Firefox for its many add-ons.

I stopped using IE back during the IE 6 days. I hated IE with a passion and mostly thanks to its buggy errors and security flaws.
Usually I stick to firefox (with a few addons for good measure), chrome or opera. There is a few others I've used but I don't find them to be flexible with certain sites.
