I didn't watch the final match of Euro. Today I learned that Spanish team is the winner but the scores is 4:0. Hard to believe since it means Italian team didn't have a goal at all. And this result seems to be a shame. 4:0 is a big gap. Italian team won German team and then they went to the final match to Spanish team. Italian could win the powerful German team but it didn't even have a score to Spanish team? This is out of my expectation.

Hello youless
It is surprising not only that the Italian team didn't score, but that there was such a big gap in the Spanish team earning four (4) goals. This is an amazing upset, no?
I feel bad for the Italian team not scoring at all. How sad for them.
Peace

I just think this Spanish team is the best in the world and on Sunday they showed how much. They are probably one of the best teams ever with their tiki-taka game. The critics had a swing at them stating their game was boring and that though they have possession there are not too many goals. What better way to answer those critics than to smash 4 goals in the final of a major tournament against a team renowned for their defense.
Cheers!

Italy was very tired and had Chiellini and Motta out for injury and playing the last 30 minutes with 10 men. Let's not forget that in the group game Ballotelli was fouled by Pique and the penalty was not allowed, and Croatia had 2 clear penalties and none of them was allowed. With those penalties being awarded and transformed into goals Spain would have went home and we would have had another European Champion. And they have had luck against Portugal as well, because penalty shootout is about luck as well. So I think that Spain is a great team, but the luck is also a great factor in their winning streaks. Let's not forget how they qualified in 2010 from their group and how the referee destroyed Paraguay in the game against Spain.
And in 2008 in the Euro final 4 critical decisions were made by Rosetti, all of them in favor of Spain: at the goal scored by Torres, he fouled Lahm,
- Silva has fouled and headbutted Podolski in the 50th minute, but hasn't been sent off
-Capdevila made a handball in the first half and the referee didn't award a penalty for Germany
- in the last minute Gomez scored a goal and the referee didn't allow it, for unknown reasons.
So without these "mistakes" we wouldn't have a title hattrick of Spain, which does not mean that they are not a great team, but they are also very protected by UEFA and FIFA.

The result just showed how good Spain is. They played very well last night. All their players were outstanding. Italy did have a few chances to score but they were not to be. Football is like that. To play well and when luck is on your side, you can score anyway you want. When things are not going your way, even 3 feet in front of the open goal, the ball will just not go in.

Spain did not play as well as they had been expected initially in the group stages. In fact they were nearly knocked out if Croatia was able to score to force a draw in their match. But Spain recovered and kept playing better. They played their best performance in the final.

Hi friend, The score shows that Spain players played well and the Italy players don't express their real talents, some times this kind of failures will happen, just be sportive

I didn't find it particularly shocking. I know Italy are very good defensively, personally I thought Balotelli was awful in previous games and their group wasn't too challenging - they had Ireland in it. Spain were always a class above teams, the Germans only beat easy opponents too. Gomez was on fire but after he got switched for Klose the team seemed to go too. Poland were easy for them but Italy have a lot more quality and were the hardest team they faced so far. Germany were only beaten by a 'rare out of character' 5 minute spell from Balo, some of which might have been luck.
All in all Spain didn't really suprise me, but glad Torres and Mata the Chelsea Boys both got goals even though the coach didn't play them much. Gomez or Torres with as much time on field as Balotelli would easily have netted the golden boot.

I was also surprised by these results, it's an embarrassing outcome for italy because it happened in the biggest game in Europe is Euro. As there is something wrong in the team when the final italy, italy could really weird when mengalhkan Germany but they seemed to his knees in Spain. And evening Spanish course also motivated while playing italy, it was their worst game.

I dont think you would have bee in shock if u had wwatched the game. Italy played badly specially in the second half. They concieved two goals in the second half within five minutes. They were really careless and spain team has shown everyone why they are the best team in world. They are the world champions and they will not let anyone take that crowm from them.

I watched the final of Euro2012 and Spain was the better team. Spain out-hustled and out-passed the Italians. The few chances they got, the Spanish goalie stopped everything. The passing by Spain was top-notch. This Spanish team is the best team of this generation. They are that good, having won Euro 2008 and the World Cup in 2010.

The result is totally unexpected. Italy has been very impressive in the lead up to the final. The way, they dispose England and Germany, we would have thought that it will be a close affair. But Spain suddenly turn up, upped their tempo and total wipe out the Italian. With it, the Los Rojas created history by becoming the first team to win three back-to-back major trophies. And now for World Cup 2014.

I watch the whole match between Spain vs Italy. Italy was careless and Spain was really great. I don't think Italy play bad at all. In the first half the attack SPain but luckily Spain has Casillas which play very superb. after left 2-0 in the first half, the game belong to Spain and Italy lost controll. They lost Chellini and Cassano and the situation becomes very worst. 4-0 is hurt, but anyway, I'm still Azzuri!!

I have watched the whole game as usual. At the beginning of the game, I thought this would really be a tight game. But after some time, I realized that Spain would win the match easily. I think this was not the Italy who were played well during the match against Germany .
