How will I keep PURE friendship only?

Is it wrong to fall in love with your friend(same gender)?have you been into that situation before? I just wanna ask. I mean, based on my experience. I have this friend of mine that says she's in love with me. I'm like.. "you kiddin' me? You crazy." At first, I'm just ignoring those moments but day by day, i can feel something. The feeling that i'm not used with it and not comfortable anymore when I'm with her. It's just that, I'm thinking that every action she portrays to me has this meaning. Really awkward moments. Since I dont wanna lose our friendship, I tried to confront her and tease her that she's just so comfortable with me that her feelings for me became exaggerated. We became really awkward after the confession. She was cold and did not respond to me. Days past, we're getting okay and getting to our normal soul. But then again, now... every feeling, every issue before comes back in our lives. The weird feelings of her towards me and the awkward moments sprouted again. Where do I go from here? How will I keep our friendship that is PURE friendship only?
