The 4th of July is near

The 4th of July is upon us again. How do you feel about this holiday? It is America's Day. I remember some great memories of this day as a kid. We would goto the beach and watch the fireworks off the barge. I miss these times. I can still remember the smell, like fish, or something. Latley I have not done anything on this day, and I hope that will change sometime soon, maybe not this year. What are your feelings on this day?

My son was born on the 4th of July, and he will be 12 this year. So, it is extra special for us. I try to have us learn or remember about why the 4th is so important to us and our country on that day. We will be going to fireworks as well, in a nearby town. We do this every year as well.
