How to be nicer

How can you train yourself to be nicer to people, when you are just a bitter person. Life is bad, and it seems everyone around you wants to make it worse. Except for the loved ones of course. How can you be genuinely nicer, not just slapping on a fake smile. Maybe you need to make yourself more happy first. I know that when I am really happy and excited, I tend to be much nicer to everyone. What are your thoughts on this?

It's simple, be yourself, there's no secret. Just don't make your mistakes over and over again, once is enough to learn. Don't think negatively on why this thing happening to you but take it as a challenge. You can always listen to music to relax or do any of your hobby to lessen the tendency to think life is bad.

If I am bitter about something, I try to stay to myself. I also start listening to music and trying to shake the mood. I have a son with Cerebral Palsy, and he has taught me to take one day at a time and to make the most of it. If he can be happy all the time with the pain he is in, then I should not complain.

I don't usually get this way but if I do I stay away from anyone that will trigger me to scream, Lol. There is someone I can think of that really pushes my buttons so I would MOST definitely avoid that person.
I am usually in a nice mood all the time. I try not to think too much though because that is when I do get upset about life.
