Has Youtube Helped You Learn Things?

I can't really say I've learned anything 'from youtube' as such. Maybe brushed up on a thing or two graphics wise but thats about it. More like a refresher course. But then again if I am looking for information I prefer it written and not listening to some wanna be know it all just reading from a webpage 90% of the time.

I'm only using YouTube for two categories, first is for learning, if I want to learn something on a specific topic and tired of reading a pdf book I sometimes search on YouTube and if the topic on one of my subject is bothering me or I still didn't fully understand it I also use YouTube. The second one is for entertainment, since I love computer games specially strategical one, I always watch them to learn new strategies or new techniques (I really love being a gamer).

YouTube has helped me learn about where to find things online, I have found a lot of helpful videos on YouTube.

Hi surveychick4, there are countless of info and knowledge for me to learn from Youtube. I visit this great site frequently. I like physical exercise. If I can't go out to jog or climbing mountain in the evening on account of heavy rain. I usually would like to dance following the steps and music on YT, like aerobic dance, etc. Videos teaching Chinese music instruments like flute, erhu are available as well. Cookery videos help me a lot in cooking as well Besides, YT is a very good site for improving singing skill as well as learning new songs Happy posting

It helped me learn how to apply makeup! Before, when I don't watch YT makeup tutorials yet, I have no idea how to apply foundation, blusher, eyeliner, etc. And now I can apply different eyeshadow techniques on my eyes! I use Youtube for learning Japanese too and it helped me a lot in so many things.

many a times people will get confused on how to do things properly and i am pretty sure that only with help and guidance of youtube they are able to do really well.it is of great use and i have learned to play golf only with the superb crafted videos of youtube

Of course! If I'm having trouble with homework, if I want to see how to do an exercise properly, and even if I want to learn how to cook something nice for my family, I use Youtube. Youtube is such a powerful learning tool but of course there are several obvious negatives to the use and exploitation of Youtube. Since we are not talking about that, I would just like to agree with learning using Youtube! I'm a visual learner and I love to watch videos, rather than read or listen to monotone audio, so I'm so grateful for Youtube's effectiveness and most importantly it's convenience. You don't even need an account to access its artillery!

Since there are many kinds of videos in Youtube, so be sure we can learn a lot from it. For example, I bought a tablet and I'd make a capacitance pen by myself. I found many videos about it from Youtube and I followed the instructions. It will be easier to learn it from the video. I love China

I use youtube for all kinds of educational things. I use it when homeschooling my children, lots of great videos for that. I use it for jewelry making ideas, upcycling, cooking, holiday crafts, and painting class. There are a lot of bad things on youtube as well, but I stay away from them.

Of corse youtube helped me learn! Online videos (mostly on youtube) can give the best help to learn a way to do something, as you just need to follow the steps on the tutorial video and you are done. As you can see the steps not only written, but visually makes the learning and steps following even more easier. With quality the problem is that a few years ago the videos quality was much worse, so old videos must be updated to a better one, so it can be enjoyable again. Youtube should send a warning to old video owners with low quality videos to update them if they have the source with better resolution.

well to be frank there are many videos related to making money on youtube but in real life,many are scam so i prefer to watch only entertainment videos

Youtube helps me a lot of things too. I learned how to optimize my computer performance through some videos on youtube. I know how to install some games and their walkthrough on youtube too. Sometimes, I will go and learn a few new cooking recipes on youtube as well.

Yes it has. I watched surgical videos, I watched Biology lecture videos. I also improve my English with Youtube. It's the TV of our generation.
