If both are 32 bits computers, you can install the HDD of your old computer into your new computer and you will have all your files and software available.

Hi topffer. Both my computers are 32 bits. But its not a matter of installing the old HDD to my new computer. It takes just a couple of minutes to do it. As you said if i do like that the path of the software differs for example local C: will be assigned as any other drive letters. Therefore the registry files of the software becomes invalid due to the change of path. Any new suggestions, you are most welcomed.

Well that would be difficult to bypass software without its installer cd-package. Sometimes, if you copy all the contents from the installed software on the computer, it won’t run on the other PC-because it will just pop-up as a file rather than running software. However, you can try buying the software from a computer gadget shop, or try to find it online.

Is there some reason you just can't download the program? If you bought it and have a valid serial key (you can find ways to get it through the program itself sometimes or the registry) you could contact the developers and see if they can send you it again or atleast help you in some way. Depending on the program though its somewhat doubtful it copied the installs to the directory, usually its just the uninstalls. You could go into the programs directory and have a look though. You may just about be somewhat lucky if the installs are there. If they are you could copy it that way (works if the install is there, had the issue with a program myself). Goodluck
