Right now I am reading a crime novel by Jonathan Kellerman, I find it quite good to be honest. It is called "Mystery", I guess it would be one of his more recent novels and it is enjoyable but even still I don't find it as good as some of his earlier stuff.. Then again I guess that sometimes happens with authors if they continue on a series for quite a long time without huge change to it.. What are you reading? Is it good??

I am currently reading Beach Road, by James Patterson. It is OK. I love James Patterson books, but I am not finding this one all that good. I am very much looking forward to Odd Apocalypse coming out this month, by Dean Koontz. Can't wait!

Wow, I am fond of James Patterson, too, although I still haven't read most of his books. I am about to receive a few copies of his and it includes a hardbound edition of The Beach Road. :)

I am reading the Undead series by MaryJanice Davidson. It is modern day vampire stuff. I have really enjoyed the entire series so far. I am on book 8 and have book 9 checked out from the library.

Ahh I haven't tried that series to be honest, but I have read the majority of the Kelley Armstrong series, not quite vampires, more of a mix of a lot of supernatural races but still I find them pretty good ;)

Book Cover for Odd Thomas - Book cover for Odd Thomas, a novel written by Dean Koontz
I am reading 11/22/63 by Stephen King and it's bringing up some interesting questions about the past and what would happen if major events hadn't happened the way that they had. It's a good piece of fiction. I am waiting for the new Dark Tower book to be available at my library so I can read that one. I'm also waiting for a werewolf one from Anne Rice. I tried reading her Angels and Demons series and didn't like it at all. I didn't realize a new Odd Thomas book was coming out this month. I'm going to have to watch for it so I can get it from the library, my husband and I love Odd!

I just finish reading the island of adventure or something. It's by Enid blyton. It was one of my first novels I had and it brings back so much memories toe when I read it. I remembered I constantly had to check the dictionary then cause I didn't know a lot of words and I remembered it took me a week to finish that novel and now it only took me like 2 hours. The storyline itself is still awesome to me and I think I will never get tired of it!

I just finished reading Still life by Joy Fielding. I find it interesting, thrilling and with a moral lesson about who you trust. It's about a happily married, beautiful and rich woman who was commatosed, what everyone doesn't know was that she was able to hear and feel them. While she was on that state she discovered that her accident wasn't an accident at all. Somebody tried to kill her for her money and it was someone she loves. I think the author don't have a book series yet, but I really like her way of writing, it has lots of twists and surprises. happy mylotting.

As of the moment I have stopped reading this trilogy "Losing Christina." It is a young adult fiction about an island girl who gets to study away from home while boarding in a creepy apartment. I kind of got bored with reading per se, and not only with the book. The most recent book that I have finished consuming was "The Locket," the first of another trilogy by Richard Paul Evans. It's a simple yet a moving story about a friendship between a young man and an old, dying woman, and how he learns lessons in life from the stories of the old woman.

I have been inundated with books from goodreads.com. I have so many books to read that for the first time I am actually reading two at the same time. The idea of the site is to read and review the books so I feel a little pressure to do so. I am actually having no trouble keeping the stories separate because one is a paranormal teen romance (Drain You by M. Beth Bloom) and other a general fiction story written by an award winning author (The Forrests by Emily Perkins). Honestly, having a little trouble following The Forrests as each chapter is ten years or so later than the chapter before and every incident is not described in detail leaving a lot to the readers' imagination. I'm on chapter 5 and I'm not really sure what the story is about except a family named Forrest.

Right now I'm reading "Fox's Book of Martyrs" by John Fox, first published in 1563. The edition I'm reading is edited by William Byron Forbush and published by Zondervan, and probably includes sections added later by other historical writers. But I'm only about 40 pages in, so I'm not sure yet. It's kind of a Christian classic, like Pilgrim's Progress, except it's a non-fiction account of brutal martyrdom during the early church. I can't say that I enjoy it per say, but I'm finding it enlightening.

How funny. . .I am currently reading Jonathan Kellerman too! I have been "borrowing" his books on my Nook from our library's ebook borrowing program, so I can't get all of them, and can't get them in order, which makes it a bit confusing. Right now I am reading "Gone" which is one of his earlier ones, I believe. It is pretty good but the premise is a bit weak. Have you read "Gone" yet? Hopefully I will get the chance to read "Mystery" over the summer as well!
