PTC Site Investment Requirement (not upgrade requirement)

I have been considering, perhaps foolishly, investing at bux sites that upon attempting to cash out, point out the small detail that you need to give them money to get money. A typical requirement would be, you have made $1 by clicking, they then tell you are eligable to receive say %200 of what you invest in the site. So say I give them $.50, then I a) Get $.50 in purchase balance, b) paid my $1 for clicking. So in the end, I make $.50 and purchase $.50. First, do I understand the transaction correctly?
Second, I have this sneaking suspicion that when I transfer my $.50 to them, they very well may give me $.50 in purchase balance for advertising, but just won't pay me my $1 for clicking. Anyone out there have first hand experience of investigating and having this happen or not?
Thanks!

their is so many scam sites out their i should know , have been burned quite alot but luckily enough for me i didnt invest anything just went along with it until it was time for cashouts then . suprise suprise nothing or after a while they ask you to upgrade your account . i am with one site just now that i 100% trust and i have invested some money and i get my payouts instantly . i joined over just a year ago and have won numerous cash and upgrade prizes from it aswell . before you join any of the other sites always try a search because usually their is information straight away even when its just a new site. good luck

I surely don't recommend sites that say that you need to invest money to be able to cash out. I never had problems with this issue, but only because I only did in one or two bux sites and after months that they were in business. Many of them is a scam (actually at least 90% is going to scam you). If you want to invest keep on the safe ones, neobux, clixsense, incentria..
