I just starting watching this series again on Amazon Prime. I seem to remember watching a few episodes in the 90's but I was mostly into the original Star Trek with Captain Kirk, Spock and Mccoy. Have you watched the Voyager series? What do you think of the characters? I don't get why Neelix is not that upset over losing Kes. Anyone have any insight?

I have watched all the different Star Trek series. I am actually amazed that all the different spin offs were as good as they were. Neelix losing Kes? Not sure what that was. Glad you are enjoying the series. I remember when the first and original series was on tv. Now it is all re-runs.

Great characters even more important than the storyline.

I have watched them all, the original with Spock and our Canadians, MCCoy and Kirk was my favorite. I like all the captains, I even like babylon 5. I know that is not star trek, but I don't remember the episode well enough to know why Neelix didn't appear upset. I just don't remember.

I watched "Voyager" when it aired here, but there are gaps in my viewing of the show that I've yet to fill in..and how the Neelix/Kes thing ended would be part of one of those gaps! I'd like to find a tv channel here that was doing re-runs to catch up.I've recently discovered streaming tv shows online, and catch up on some shows that I missed out on..I just completed the run (so far) of "Fringe" online..I don't see much "Trek",though..

You can find them on Netflix and Amazon Prime. I am not sure about Hulu but some might be there too.

Neelix was upset over loosing Kes because he was in love with her and didn't want her to leave.
i have watched every episode of every star trek aside from the enterprise series. my all time favorite character is bones. i love the way he and spock always get into intense conversations about logic. :)

I watched Voyager and seen every episode, and it was my favourite of the Star Trek series. It definitely worth the time watching. The characters and actors are great and it had a great ending too. And I think Borgs are the best enemies in the whole universe! :)

I do like Star Trek Voyager and they managed to amass a good collection of characters, which plays an important role in any television series.
When the series first began I was quite impressed with the overall idea because the situation would allow for a great deal of new species and worlds. However, I am very disappointed that they do not seem to be making full use of that opportunity. With Voyager travelling in a constant direction, albeit making a few detours for various reasons, they should encounter different species on a regular basis. Instead, we see the same people over and over again. I sometimes find it irritating that Kazon seem to appear so often. If they carry on their journey and have a faster starship than the Kazon, how can they possible be intercepted 4 months later when the Kazon come looking for them?
I realise that we have to make some allowances with various facets of the programme, but this aspect seems quite absurd.

voyager was great as was all the star trek spin off which says something because the original was a hard act to follow.I too enjoyed voyager more once the borg and seven of nine came into it.captin Janeway was also a top captin
