When it's time to think about health there are different types of fat that we consume.
Whenever we go to the doctor to have our cholesterol tested we find that we have healthy and unhealthy cholesterol.
Healthy cholesterol is called HDL. We want our HDL level to be higher than 50 and we can increase our HDL if we consume the facts found in foods like nuts, fish, olives and olive oil. There are other oils that support healthy HDL levels as well.
Unhealthy cholesterol is called LDL. We want our LDL level to be 100 or LOWER. We can lower our LDL by avoiding trans fats and animal fats.
Our triglyceride level is determine by the foods we consume that are high on the glycemic index. If we have a problem with elevated trigyceride levels we have fat in our blood that is due to spiking blood sugar n simple carbohydrates like sugar.

Fats are not bad in our health, instead they are essential to us. But we must take note that we have to have them in moderation. Fats are essential in some vitamins. There are fat soluble vitamins meaning they need fats and oil in order to be dissolved and utilized by the body. What we really ned to watch is the calorie intake. Again, we must take fats in moderation.

I consider them as my enemies because I am a health-conscious person. But they say I need them because I can get fat because of them. I really want to get fat because it's hard for me coz I have fast metabolism. But in the long run, I say that it's harmful for me because I could get high blood due to high cholesterol in the body.

All i know is that saturated or trans fat are bad for me. Those are the ones contain in junk food and fast food such as KFC and McDonalds. I consume more good fat nowadays. From what i learn in my fitness education, fish and egg yolks provide those. Also flaxseed oil. It is good to lower the bad cholesterol which when accumulated will block the artery. I eat oat daily to reduce the bad cholesterol. I also consume lots of complex carbs like vege, oats, and wholemeal bread.

There are two kinds of fats.one for good health and the other is bad.In our food there are many kinds of things. Some will digest immediately and transfered as blood which will be helpful for our livelihood.some others will not digest and will stagnate in several parts of our body and makes us bulky.so,we have to consider in consuming to take good foods in our food.

I think majority of the fats are my enemies. I just received my laboratory results, I have high cholesterol and LDL. I need to cut down my fat intake a little bit more. Also, I should be more cautious now on my sugar intake.
I know that we have a lot of this complaint in my family, and we are prone to the following - diabetes, stroke, hypertension, arteriosclerosis and etc.
That's why I'm doing my best to eat healthy and exercise a lot. I should maintain an ideal weight, that's my doctor's advice.
Thanks
