Is business a good career choice?

Yes having a business of your own is a good career choice but not everyone can be successful on this path. And NO, having a business is not safe since you would risk a lot of money in the process of doing so. Establishing your own business is my dream. I'd be my own boss, I have a flexible work time. However, I also know that not everyone succeeds in creating a business. I guess you only hear the stories of the fortunate ones. There are a lot out there who have lost a lot of money due to failure in business. Business requires a certain skill set. You need to think about this before plunging thousands of money in building a business.

I do admit that there are tonnes of successful business men and women, but there are more who fail in the process. If you have enough experience and know someone in the same field who will be able to help and guide you, then it is good choice for you. If you don't, then better don't step too deep into it, as business will only give us 2 outcomes, either you become really successful or you fail to do so. Without any guidelines and help from your true friends or family, or having some knowledge in the same field, you will probably belong to the second group.

business is good for your future if you know the business you are getting into. rich people become richer and the stories of rags to riches are popular and getting much attention in the media. i am not into business because i choose a career that will not make me real rich, but rich in friendship and values. i do teach and research for academic institutions.

I would like to have a business of my own too if given the chance. You are right, not all who ventured into business became successful but most of those who are successful are not first timer. I mean, some have suffered losses but because of hard work and determination, they became successful.So if one have the passion and the determination, having a business could be a good choice.

It is depend upon our mind if we are thinking business is good choice then we should take the effort in business but if we are thinking no job is good idea then dont try to start the business. In business family support regarding money is most important.

Each and every one is having a dream about their career and interest in a field, if we focus our concentration in our interested field with our dedication and determination, surely we will achieve a lot with our career and become a successful person. Some people may think that doing business will help us to make a lot of money, but they are wrong, not every one is blessed to get success with their business. We must have knowledge and interest to do anything and every thing in our life. If a person started business without a proper knowledge, s/he don't have the ability to shine in the field and get success in the life. Each and every job have the ability to give more income to us based on our hard work, efforts and determination. First of all we must find our interested job and set our career with it. Don't take other persons advice and ideas while selecting your career, you are the person to work and you know about your interest and favorite field, just select your job based on your interest and do it with full of your concentration. If you are interested with your job, surely you will give your utter most to your work and achieve a lot with it. If a person do his work without his interest as well as knowledge, he don't have the ability to shine in the field due to the lack of knowledge as well as he is not interested in learning more, as he is not interested with the field. He can do his work without any willingness and his progress will be zero. Don't waste your life in this sort and find your job in your favorite field and face the new challenges with your interest, surely you will achieve a lot with your job and become a successful person with your career

for me, no. not even a business-minded person so i wouldn't risk my own money into that path. im more on like a follower when it comes to my career. many people invited me to do business with them but i just don't think it'll work knowing what i can do and i've been in to sales before and i don't like it thats why i no longer am doing it haha..

Well, I think that in a capitalist world, being and learning the trades of business is a great path to tread into. This is because the concept of Capitalism moves and benefits more on businesses and entrepreneurship. As for other types of ideology, I don't know if being a businessman is the better choice though.

I completely disagree.I am sure that doing business is definetly a cheating.No one will prepare to do business without profit.It means,to gain money by means of cheating one or more persons we will try to live in the world.It is not a good career.As far as possible,as a human being we have to do service to the persons expecially the weaker sections, by rendering huge help by means of physically.Though not by means of money.There are so many ways to fulfill this aim in taking careers useful for this purpose.for ex,see,doctors who are completely living for the suffereing sections without caring even for their own health and prosperity.
