The Sims Social on Facebook

How many out there like to play this little game on facebook? I do love the sims and I loved the game on facebook too. The problem is that it will not work for me on this computer so I am unable to play it. It is a little disappointing because it is something I wondered about when the game first came out. I wondered how it might be to play it with your friends. I can not even enjoy it with my friends now because it always freezes. I just get into it a little but I can not do what I have to. My sim is always hungry or dirty LOL. I hope it is as fun as it seems.

When they posted that there was a Sims game for Facebook, I was immediately excited but when it came it, I ended up being disappointed since it was too different from the PC game. My first problem was with energy. Having a limited amount of energy that is renewed based on time was disappointing. I couldn't play the game for as long as I liked and each session felt quite limited. Also, having to rely on friend giving you gifts or visiting you to progress in the game was frustrating. So I obviously stopped playing The Sims Social and have gone back to just playing The Sims 3. I also tried the Sims FreePlay available on iOS. It is somewhat similar to Sims Social but not as demanding. Still, I'm sticking with Sims 3.

I too was disappointed in these facts. It was too alike facebook games and not enough like original sims PC or console games. It was another way for facebook to get people to buy things from their affiliates. Though being social on a sims game is a neat idea, there could be a better way of doing this through a console or PC, for sure.

I love playing it but not been playing it lately because I have the sims three . You cant play it on your computers that is odd , you will either need a flash update or hardware upgrade . My sims is always dirty and hungry also , I would let them visit neighbors for entertainment because I had no tv or anything and to keep their social life up .

My favorites of the Sims are also not on the PC. I enjoy the console games much more than this small relic of what it is on those others. This is just a substitute in all reality.

i haven't tried playing this one but one of my gamer friends installed it in her computer and shes liking it. i first saw it in facebook but i first thought maybe its just some typical game but it got popular so i was thinking of downloading it too. one of my friends though, whom i shared the same interest, told me it's boring haha. so i didnt get the chance to download it until now.

The Sims is a type of game that is either good for you or not. If you do not like the category of the game you will not enjoy it.

I have always liked the sims games. However the sims social in facebook seems to be less comprehensive. If I'm not mistaken, we cannot interact directly with the players on the other ends. Besides, there are not a lot of items and clothing to choose from. Overall it is a pretty simple version of the sims. Of course you can spend a little time on it but not really addicting like the pc version of the sims. I hope they would make some improvement soon.

Oh so I guess it is missing key things that the rest of the sims games usually have. I think that's to be expected though since it would take a lot to have a full fledged game like that on facebook.

Wow that is really crazy about people dying for playing facebook games too much. Although I don't see how it is very surprising because of the addiction level in them. In almost every game that facebook has you have to keep continuing and spending time to advance. As it gets harder you will have to put more time and its very easy to be addicted there.

I too never had a lot of interest in the games on facebook. Over all facebook holds almost no interest for me at all... sad perhaps. I do use it to keep in touch with some family members.

It honestly isn't all that fun for me because I'd have to have many people to help me out with some of the things, and I only have one other friend that plays it. As it is I don't get on there to play every day because of that. I added it as a game when I couldn't get the sims 3 again, but now that I have it again I use that instead of the sims social.

Yeah that is the problem with almost all of the FB games. Unless you have some friends to help you advance then you can't even play it that much. I guess I am not missing out on this then. I forget about that sometimes because I don't play games there, for that reason. Now that I think about it though, glad I don't try to waste my time with it.

I really didn't get into playing the sims social on facebook. I don't know why as I love playing sims on the computer and off line. Sims is a really fun game to play though is my opinion. I am very addicted to the off line version and have played the game since sims 1 came out, I've played sims 2 and now I am hooked on playing sims 3. So, yeah the game is really fun to play. Sims Social on the other hand, I really didn't like.
