The other day I saw that they had a cleaning lady come next door to do the windows n detail clean the empty apartment next door. Doing a little research there are ppl who only clean up foreclosures or move outs. I could do that! Does any1 have any idea how to break into a business such as this? Thx.

If you would like to be able to start a business such as that, the first thing that you should do is to try to befriend someone that is an apartment manager or something like that. These would be the first people that would be willing to give you jobs in that area. Once you've proved to them that you are able to do the work well, then they would probably pass your name on to others that they know through word of mouth. That would be the way that your business would be able to grow.

I agree with you, friend. But there are also other ways in my country, such as sending curriculum. I donĀ“t know if it is suitable for the US, but the hardest moment is the beginning.

That is a good way to make extra money. I saw on another forum (years ago) where a couple went into this exact business because they both lost their jobs. Most of the foreclosures were disaster areas. Since the husband had construction experience he also tore down and replaced sheetrock on the walls or any flooring that needed to be replaced. The wife said that several of the houses were terrible. Rotten food left in the fridge, dirty dishes, trash left all around, holes in the walls and things of that nature. She said that they literally took a snow shovel into one house and scooped up trash and gunk off of the floor of the kitchen so that they would not have to touch it. I guess when people found out they were being evicted they decided that they would make the place unlivable. I would call local realty companies to see if they can give you any leads. Good luck with this.
