Had a dream I met my hero!

Last night I dreamed that I was going to a conference on C.S. Lewis, a beloved writer of many classics and one of my personal literary heros. He's been gone for forty years or so, so in reality I would never get to meet him. In my dream, we were watching biographical videos on C.S. Lewis and seeing artwork inspired by his books, browsing through books on him. Then for the last day of the conference, he showed up! 
Apparently, he just decided to pop down from heaven and make an appearance to answer questions and shake hands. He looked and acted just as I imagined he would from seeing his pictures and reading about his life. Of course, I was offered the opportunity to ask him any question I wanted... and I couldn't think of what to say! 
Have you ever dreamed that you met someone famous who has already passed? What did you talk about? Did you talk about anything at all? What would you say to your own hero?

It sounds like you had a very interesting dream with C.S. Lewis! Did you write down any of the dream upon awakening?
I used to love to read Lewis when I was a child / teenager. Later, I enjoyed reading his more serious works.
When my Dad was at Oxford a couple of summers ago, he brought back a book on Lewis and two of his friends to give to Mrs. Turner, who is a big C.S. Lewis fan. Unfortunately, the book was not as flattering as one would hope concerning one's heroes. However, it was still enlightening.
I can't recall ever dreaming about a hero. Many many years ago, I did have a dream about one of the U.S. Presidents, but in no way was he a hero. Still, it was an interesting dream as it showed me that this President was simply a man / human with all the frustrations and delights that come with being human. We flew around in a helicopter looking at the nation as he bemoaned the many problems he faced and wondered how to handle.

I wrote down the whole dream when I woke up. I try to keep a dream journal and write down everything I remember when I wake up.
Not as flattering? lol What do you mean by that? It had negative or downright embarrassing things to say, did it?
That's an interesting dream. Don't think I've ever dreamed about a president before. Oh wait, yes I have. But he wasn't president at the time and it was hardly a serious dream. It was a musical on a cruise ship. And his wife gave birth to a dragon.
