Just translate 2 pages of English legal scripts and I got paid $10. Is this worth? Feel free to drop a response and God bless.

Hi, Which language did you translate into? I think 10$ is a very good payment for that.

Oh that's really cool. I do not know Chinese and have never come across a translation job from English to my native tongue. However, great to hear you have earned so well. Wish you luck.

Translation work is relatively high paying but does require evidence of experience and good quality work. My daughter worked as a translator for a while (translating between English and French and Spanish). Her charge was about 5 to 8 cents a word. I think that translators in specialised subjects such as scientific and legal work can command more than this and, of course, the charge increases the more unusual the language. Two pages of English would normally amount to at least 1000 words. That would suggest that you earned about 1 cent per word. That is rather low, really, especially for a legal document, but if you do more of this work you should expect your rate to increase as you demonstrate that you can work effectively and accurately.

Sorry you made a mistake, there are only 621 words in those 2 pages...is it still worth? ^.^
