There are three that come to mind: Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, Will and Jada Smith, and Tom and Rita Hanks. Even though Joanne was Paul's second wife , they had a strong and long marriage. They were married for 50 years!Tom Hanks and Rita have been married for 24 years and Rita is his second wife! Will and Jada , 15 years And Jada is his second wife too! I see a trend! And I see another trend! All these couples are friends along with being lovers! They kid one another. They Seem to Realy like to be with each other!

No dear there is no such thing as perfect marriage. There are happy marriages though but those are still not perfect. You know why? It is because nobody is perfect. So if two imperfect beings tie the knot then they could not possibly build a perfect union at all. Nevertheless, by God's grace they can always make things through in spite of their imperfection if they know how to consider the fact that none of them is perfect anyway. So instead of looking at the negative, look at the positive so that each day of living will be a happy one.

I would say I can never say with confidence that celebrities can have perfect marriage. Marriage is about knowing each other , spending time together and livng each other. How can you expect these things to happen when they have busy shooting schedules across the globes and no time for family affairs. Only if one of the partners is ready to do a bit of compromise in their career, then they can raise a good family. But in today's competitive world, people are never ready to compromise.

Nobody has a perfect marriage. It's difficult to maintain a good relationship most especially when you're in constant spotlight. I couldn't imagine living in a world where people are there waiting for you to fail - the stress would just be too much.
I don't know about celebrity marriages that lasted, perhaps there are, I'm pretty sure there are but you wouldn't see those in the tabloids because they're boring. Remember intrigues sell, not the good person or couple.
Though you may think it's a rarity these days, I still think that it could happen. But it would take a huge toll on the couple, most especially celebrities. I'd probably think that it takes a strong man and a woman to make the marriage last. They should both be content, supportive, and perfect little angels - that's difficult if temptation is just within reach and people would make stories about you or your partner.
It's sad when a marriage breaks. I'm sadder for the kids that are left behind. But I guess they're stars and that's the life they have chosen. But still, deep within those glimmering smiles and sparkling eyes, lies a person still yearning for Forever.
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

well i know that i can honestly say i've not seen one perfect marriage, celebrity or not. there are always issues. but that doesnt mean things have to end on a bad note such as separation, divorce, or annulment. there is marriage counseling to help.

Maybe Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas.
I used to believe that Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis had a perfect couple life, but that turned to dust, too. I guess it is very hard to have a true life when you are a star. All those paparazzi all around you all the time, no intimacy... I surely don't envy them.

Both Irving Berlin (1888-1989) and Bing Crosby (1904-1977) were married twice, and only because their first wives passed away.

Perfect marriages in Hollywood is rare. I cannot think of any. However, I can think of many married celebrities here in my country who have perfect marriages.

Yes, divorce is not allowed here but annulment is. Many celebrity couples still get annulled here though.

I don't really recall any celebrity that could successfully stay married when they do not make the ultimate sacrifice with their career in acting. Like Elizabeth Lee, Cherie Chung, Lin Feng Jiao, Jacky Chung or Chow Yun Fatt who all have made big adjustments on their acting careers to stay in their marriage.
All these people just remind me that we need to make the necessary sacrifices and work hard with our relationships and marriage to stay in it. There are no exceptions. All including me, have our work cut out and struggles to go through, I would not call it perfect at the end but I don't know why I would always feel the need to have them. But, I do feel a great sense of self worth and happy after each and every hurdle although I could not feel the same way when I was in the middle of them.

In India lots of exmaples of celebrities marriage is perfect like Jayaprada and Amitabh Bachan, Hemamalini and Suny Deol and more. Divorced may be in between common couple or in between celebrities no matter but no every marriage is perfect and not every marriage imperfect.

I do not think there is such a thing as a perfect marriage. there will be times that the couple won't be able to stand each other. There will be times when both of them will hate each other's guts. So there is nothing as a forever happy problem-free wedding.
