Hello,
I know all of us were a school and college students and some of us are working now as a teacher. I remember some of my teachers who were good at teaching, and they helped me to get the subject they tought.
It varies from person to person that who is their favorite teacher but there will be certain generalised methods which are considered good for teaching.
Delivering a lecture to a 60 numbers of students seems a big thing so I want you to give some light on it, no matter it is dim is bright. Let us discuss.

Hi friend, Teacher job is really a dedicated job, teachers must have a good knowledge and have the ability to teach their lessons well and give their lecture in a good way to impress their students. Their teaching way must encourage the student to get a good mark in their exams.

I think it is a good system to examine the students after the semester by conducting the exams. If the exams were not there then maybe no one among them will study.

you are right, exams are important to know about the student's understanding. I placed another reply to this topic below, read it out and give your comments

Delivering good lectures needs oratory skills and the ability to make the topic of the lecture easy and interesting. If you are a teacher, you need to have a good understanding of the subject you are teaching.Along with this you must have the concentration so that you may focus on the topic without being strayed. When I was a high school student,we had a teacher who taught us geography- a dry subject. He had all the aforementioned abilities. One of our former prime ministers,Atal Behari Vajpayee, too, was an extraordinary orator.

I agree with you, and I like the example of our former prime minister which you gave at the end. Thanks a lot, have a nice day.

And here I thought 40 was a lot!!!!!
I couldn't imagine giving a lecture to 60! Well, I'm guessing that would surely be something when you give them exams! How would you ever watch over those who would cheat?!?!? hahahaha...
What I would usually do when I need to handle a large class is to first make sure that my voice could be heard properly and my visuals easily understood. Examples would be really great when the topic at hand is really difficult to grasp.
There will be people who are going to go to sleep, but you could easily avoid that by calling people to participate. I'm assuming you'd have a seat plan with their names, that would be handy.
I always try to relate the subject that I'm teaching to their life today and their lives in the future. I always make it a point for them to understand why the subject is valuable in the first place. If they see that they could apply the topics taught beyond the classroom, they will be interested somehow to listen to you more.
You take care! Good luck with the 60!!!
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I got your points, to make them understand that why the subject is really important for them is real one. If they understand this then I am sure they all will take the interest and will learn effectively.
The other most important point which I think is the amount of understanding and knowledge that you yourself have about the subject. If you have the deep understanding of the subject then I am sure that one will get more positive results.

hi,
when i was in high school i have some favorite teachers because they can deliver their discussion that everyone could learn,as i observed they were really interact to us vise verse,so that no one student could feel sleepy during the time of that teacher, its really hard to teach and handle 60 students so the deliberation of the topic should be alive.

I think that lecturing abilities are one of the things that depends on practical experience and not on theoretic "tips". Every lecturer started with his first lecture, and I believe that even the greatest lecturers today weren't so good at their first time.
in my opinion, the most important things that good lecturers have to be good at is knowing the lecture materiel very well, and pay attention to his audience. If the lecturer doesn't make sure that his audience understand his words, He can't be defined as a good lecturer.

Hi friend, you are right, it is not an easy thing to give lecture and take class for lot of students. Really teachers and professors have lot of endurance. Different kind of students have different mentality and teachers are in need to compromise with all kind of students to take the class in a good manner. Teaching profession is really a noble one and the teacher must have a good communication skill to contact the students
