If your clothes don't fit on you at all, do you give it away?

Hello! I give away my clothes to the church. Every season I keep what I am going to wear and I give the rest because there are many people that need them. It's a pitty to throw them away, and I don't have much space in my closet because I share it with my mother. I also like to make other people happy and if I don't need someting it's my pleasure to give it to someone that will wear it.

Hi, If I am sure that I can't or I don't want to use it anymore, yes, I do. I don't have many too but usually I give them away while they still look good, I let the person choose what she wanna take. The rest I use them as rugs on the floor or table wiper.

It depends really. If I don't really have another use I have for them, my parents usually give them away to my younger cousins. Sometimes though I will use some of my old clothes for some type of crafts project or maybe add something to a shirt that does fit me to decorate it a bit with my limited skills haha. Usually for a quick casual outfit I am wearing for a specific event. (: It's fun to see what you can make with old clothes that don't fit you.

I usually donate them or give them to my sister, who is also about 1 size smaller than me. If she doesn't want them, then I donate them to a charity-fundraising organization. (Here we have a place that is called ARC, which gives all proceeds to the needy). I love going through my clothes & finding ones to donate! I just love getting rid of stuff, especially when I know it goes to a good cause. I guess it is working out for you pretty well that your sister is gaining weight, huh? . Happy MyLOtting!

Yeah, I give always give away the clothes that I don't wear much, especially the ones that doesn't fit me anymore.

Hi friend, good to hear that your sister gave her dresses to you, so you got some new clothes with it, i agree with you, she may use it after losing his weight. I will give my old clothes to charity. i don't have unfit clothes, always i give importance to purchase the apt clothes for me

I don't mind giving away old clothes that can't be worn anymore due to size. We had many at home and gave a lot of them to relatives who wanted them. I don't own many clothes now and all of them seem to still fit me, so I have nothing to give away personally at the moment.

hi tess. for the clothes that don't fit me anymore, i usually resell these and post these in my sulit account. i started a discussion about this here in mylot, here is the link, http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2667115.aspx. anyway, these are not just for clothes that don't fit me, these are also for clothes that i don't wear anymore. i'm not really fond of clothes so i'm unsure why i got a lot of these so now my rule is before i buy a new shirt, i should have sold one from my previous collection. that goes for my pants, jerseys, and jackets as well. whatever i don't sell, i donate to charitable institutions. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

I have remained a steady size for a long while, so it isn't a change in size that prompts me to donate. Instead, I will donate things that I view as no longer fitting who I am or things that were gifts that I did not like.

I keep only the clothes I like very very much. I don't have problems with losing or gaining weight, so I don't change my clothes so often. There are some I prefer, and I like to wear them a lot, and there are some which I keep in my wardrobe and wear them only occasionally. I have also received many clothes from friends, and I really appreciate that, I don't consider it an offense. When I decide there are some clothes I would never wear again, I give them away, too, to the more unfortunate people, who can't afford to buy new clothes all the time.

Yes, I give my clothes away. I find that my closet gets crowded with things I don't need or wear. Every once in a while I go through my closet and if I come across clothes I haven't worn for a couple of years, chances are that I'm not going to wear them. I pack them all up and donate them to thrift stores, charity stores or second hand stores. Someone may as well make good use of them as all they're doing is hanging in my closet.

Hi tess_quinain, yes if my clothes don't fit anymore I usually give it away. Before all my clothes even if its new or old I gave it to my patient when I am doing community service but when my niece turn 10 years old I decided to keep and give it to her since some of my clothes are also fit to her and we have the same size when I am younger after all those clothes are still new.

If I am sure that I will have no use for them, then yes I donate them to my local charity. Sometimes If i see potential in clothes that are too big for me, I will put them away until they fit and then make a decision then. If I was a older sister I would probably hand down my old clothes, But I am the youngest so I receive all my sisters small clothes. Anyway, sometimes I give away clothes that fit me just because of style preferences. I do know some people who try to sell their old clothes instead of donating though.

I sure do! And lately though, i had been giving out so many hahahahaha!
