Referral exchange, did it work for you?

I recently found a website where I was able to make deals and exchange referrals for my sites. I did some satisfying deals but others were only a waste of time! The kind of deal that you make is to register and be active on a site and for exchange, the other person will do the same at your site! So far, only a few of those referrals remained active and they stopped responding at my messages. Have you ever tried to make a deal like this? I think in some cases it's worth it but others only wasted my time because I signed up to sites that I am not going to use if the deal is not valid any more!

Referral exchanges, in my opinion, is the weakest option to obtain referrals. It really does suck getting an inactive referral who you expect to mirror the activity in which you provide for them. Typically, they will only complete the task in order to get the reward, then they will abandon whatever site you have introduced them to and that's how referral exchanges work. Never in my time online have I witnessed a referral exchange program where users actually remained active on the site they agreed to sign up to. It just sucks have a temporary worker, and once their job is up, they find the next one and you're back to doing another task in order to get another crappy worker.

I 've had both experiences. Surprisingly enough, some referrals stay active as long as you are active. Others just become inactive or they never participate. I guess it depends on how lucky we are going to be each time!

Hi besweet sometimes referrals exchange works good and many a times not when the site turn out to be scam I used to do it a lot before and was paid from site like jamabux and few other but later i found it too much work for too little earnings. so i have minimized my activity. Some people i know are good at this and they are doing referrals exchanges since ages if a site goes scam they change with another one and hope to earn. If you take it as a game you would like it but yeah you have to be good at multitasking.

Yes, I agree. Even with referral exchange we need to do a little bit af research to avoid scams because even if we participate only for the exchange we still need to add our earning to get paid. I have decided that I'll only join sites that I am interested in joining so I declare my interest and offer an exchange. People that have this site give me their links and we make a deal. It's better when I decide which sites I want to join :)
