what is the purpose of our life ?

is it simply studyinggetting jobearning moneymarriagehaving childrenand finally death . we know that today all men in this world is doing the same pattern of life . no one thinks different ( except someone like our belated great scientist ) . at this moment a poem by Robert browning 'the road not taken ' comes to my mind ( may be many of u have read the poem ) in which the great poet chooses the road that is not much traveled by men ;in this poem he gave us a message 'THINK DIFFERENT' ; so according to my opinion we should not follow the crowd means not follow the life lead by our companion frdz ; we should have to do something worth to others;

I think that every person should ask themselves this question, and the answer might be different for each of us. We should decide what are the most important things for us, and then fight to achieve it. For some people the purpose is having a family, for others, it is having a great career. I don't think there is a general purpose of life for humankind, it should be different for each of us.

my purpose in life is to make everyones jaw hit the floor, make the impossible possible and do things that will make people realize what we are all really capable of.

We are all different, we should not let others to decide on our journey in life or let go with the flow. I agree with you that we shall travel the road which is different from others with a different future. The true meaning of life can only be achieve by your own self, just like what I always say, the purpose of life is to give it a meaning.

YES MY FRD and we can give a meaning to our life by leaving an impression of our existence in the mind of our future generation by creating a better world for them by creating new technologies that will help future to live in a fantastic world

I personally think our purpose in life is to find out our purpose in life itself. We spend years doing same routines everyday that we never take a moment to take a step back and look at what we've achieve so far. For me...I've achieve close to nothing that I'm satisfied with. And I thinks thats part of the purpose of life. Take a step back and look at what you've achieve so far. And I from then onwards, I would always ask myself, I have live today like I'm going to die tomorrow? And most of the time...the answer is no...which means...I have yet to found my purpose in life .
