Some people say it does not matter if you take your breakfast before you brush teeth in the morning. And that they are used to it. I know that as a child, my mother will scold me if I put anything in my mouth before I brush my teeth in the morning. But these I see people brush before brushing their teeth. Does it have any health implication. What do health practitioners recommend Which do you do? Do you Take a slight breakfast before you brush your teeth or do you brush your teeth before you take your breakfast?

I normally just rinse my mouth or gurgle before I have my breakfast and then brush afterwards as I do not like the taste of toothpaste mixing with my breakfast. Although there were instances that I have brushed before having my breakfast, but like I said earlier, I prefer to do the brushing afterwards.

Hi friend, it is not a good activity to take food without brushing, it don't take a long time to brush our teeth, so we must brush our teeth before taking our food and drinks, some persons will take bed coffee, i am not interested in such kind of practice we must brush our teeth to remove the germs, if we take our food without brushing our teeth, the germs will directly affect the teeth and we will get some unwanted dental problems.

It makes more sense to brush after breakfast, because you brush then eat and then there is food and plaque on your teeth again so it is best to brush after breakfast.

I burshed the teeth before breakfast or taking tea. No chance after breakfast not allowed in my house.

I always, always, always brush my teeth after my breakfast. I've always thought that it makes more sense to clean your teeth after you eat then before. It would be intriguing to know which a dentist or health person recommends though.

It is best to brush right after getting up since the germs have had all night to collect, etc. Also, I saw a doctor report recently that it is not good to brush right after any meal because of the acids and other things from the food that would be fresh and the act of brushing would be damaging to the enamel of the teeth. The suggestion was to rinse well after eating with water to clean and neutralize anything from the meal. I have always brushed twice a day, right after getting up and just before going to bed. I also floss just before going to bed. This seems to be a recommended way to take care of your teeth.

I prefer brushing my teeth after I eat so I feel clean and my teeth look clean and aside from that, the food taste bad if I eat while I can taste the toothpaste in my mouth.

Hey again, I use to think just brush your teeth right when you wake up.. Then eat but I was told better to eat then brush your teeth.. At this point I just do both I see no harm in bushing like 3 times a day hahaha.. or more .. If anything you will benefit from it.. But yeah this is what I was told.. But I decided to just stick with both. Haha.. So I'm right anyway haha

I myself prefer to brush my teeth and wash my face right after waking up(while the coffee is brewing). I am the type of person who prefers to brush their teeth 4 times a day so it stays fresh and minty(border line OCD).

I like to brush my teeth after I eat. That way my teeth and mouth are clean after eating breakfast. And when we eat breakfast if we don't brush our teeth what we ate may be on our breath when we talk to others. I'm not sure exactly what doctors say about that but that is what I prefer to do.

Sometimes I brush before breakfast if its going to be at least a hour before I eat. Otherwise I wait until I had breakfast because my food is soo good I dont want to mess with the tast of it

Every morning I just rinse my mouth and drink a glass of water to rehydrate my body then going to take a bath. After taking a bath usually I eat my breakfast and brush my teeth eating. I admit I never asked my doctor about this if I am going to brush my teeth before or after breakfast I just used to do it every morning and so far I am healthy and happy.
