The other day I heard some tv comapnies are making 90 inch flat screens! I am like "are they crazy"? Then I have a friend who wants to get one so bad he's trying to get a second job so he can save up money for it! I have a 32 inch flat screna nd that is fine with me! I think 90 inches in too big but I am sure tv's will get bigger in no time!

Well in Dubai some buildings are actually screens so be sure that the TV's will be bigger and bigger in the future. I personally think that it is not needed so big TV's but well this is the technology.

I really don't think tv's need to get bigger and bigger, either! They will as long as people want them and buy them! I have another friend who, before he got married, was buying a new tv everytime something new came around! Same with other gadgets! He was always buying something new! That changed when he married and became a dad!

They will just keep getting bigger and bigger, until new tech comes along. I heard that they are trying to develop a paint that is essentially a tv. anywhere you paint can be used as a tv. This would allow the biggest tv screens you have ever seen.

I could use one myself, especially if it has 3D features. I'd like to have the cinema experience right in my bedroom or living room.

Being young does not necessarily mean to equate being foolish. I just think that if I could afford one then I will for the sake of experiencing this great wonder that technology brings. Like I said, it's like having your own cinema inside your home and throw in 3D, then you what more could you ask for?

I have no idea if it comes with a 3D feature. If it does or not I am not surprised you and others would want to buy a tv this big! Especaily when you are young and foolish like my friend is! I never would buy anything that big!

To me it seems the bigger the screen the more distorted the picture becomes..people are out of shape etc....I don't have a big screen and that's okay with me...maybe someday but nothing that big.

I have a small flat screen and I am very happy with it! I would never want a tv that big, ever! I think it is a waste of money and the people who buy a tv this size is crazy! I think one reason my friend wants one to play video games on that! Have no idea how crazy that will look like! Yikes!

Wow! 90 inches flat screen is no doubt a really big tv for my household viewing pleasure. But then it may not be enough for those hardcore Video game players or those ardent DVD movie watchers, they are very interested in every detail of their game or movie, larger display space only means more pleasures and added reality into their screen.

How in the world you got yourself a foolish and stupid college student as your friend, try to find a better choice next time, it will be indeed interesting to see how 90 inches can get inside his dorm room, he may have some tricks to do that. Just wait and see!

He might be needing a second job just to pay the electricity bill from running a 90" screen, I can only imagine it'd run up bills like crazy.

I am sure he is not thinking about an electricty bill now that he has set his mind to get one! He also think he can get it in his dorm room when he gets it! I would like to see that before he complains about the electric bills! My friend is young and foolish!

I would love one in my living room! It would probably feel like you are in the movie theater. We have a 62 inch now and I love it! It is the best way to watch tv :)

hi blue65packer wonder if the friend is trying to out do the Joneses by getting bigger screen. that is just huge.I agree 32 inches would be just fine for me.Those biggies cost like fury too. If I had that much money I would use it for something more practical.

I think that I need a bigger flat first! Large screen TV's do have a purpose, in pubs and clubs, so I'm sure there is a market for them. But in the home? No, that would be a pain in the neck - literally! We can't concentrate on something that big.

Yes,I tottaly get what you mean! Thats so funny, the next thing is apartments will come with a "TV WALL" installed. Hmmm which wall will the tv ..COMPLETLY COVER! I think its because people get so depressed, and they want to take their mind off their crazy lives. Sooo they want to make SURE they are completely EMERSED in something else-thats not real, because they think it makes it better. OR.... Maybe they have so many people in their house that they want it bigger so that everyone in the house (and neighborhood) can see. They should just go buy themselves a film projector!
