Sadly my cat died

I have a cat I love so much. I have taken care of it since it was a kitten. I still remember I bought it from a pet store. Not the expensive cats, but a normal cats. I have feed him every day, bath him everyday, play with him everyday. He will come near me and rub on my legs. But now, he is no more. Not sure how he died, but probably by neighbor dog. I was away for work. When I got home, it's shock that he lay stiff on the ground. My heart breaks. I have buried him properly. Going to miss him a lot. Every morning I woke up, he will always sit by my side and rub on my legs. Now, I just sit there and watching his grave. Everyone out there must have the same feeling with me. It's heart breaking that our beloved pets dies. May his soul rest in peace.

Firstly welcome to the MyLot community!
I'm sorry to hear this story, it's not easy or very pleasant when a family member passes away. You will be OK in time but never for get him. It's all a part of life that we have to go through an although he can never be replaced hopefully one day you will have some room in your heart for a new little furry family member :)

Oh my goodness - first let me say, reading this, and some replies - I am so sorry to hear of your loss(es). It's horrible losing a beloved pet.
Then, let me gently add, there are good reasons cats need to remain indoors. There are too many risks outside, and too many ways our cats can be taken from us too soon. No cat needs to get pregnant today - get your cat spayed or neutered. There are plenty of kittens no matter what, and they can be found where ever feral cats congregate. Rescue a kitten. And please get your cats fixed and all necessary shots. Pet care is a responsibility - our cats depend on us.
