Hi All,
Have you been to Belgium? What are the places to see there, and expenses?

When I lived in Kent I often went across the sea to lovely Belgium. It has a Flemish speaking area and a French speaking area. I traveled around it using the excellent train service. I have been to Ostend by the seaside. Best of all I have been to Brugge my favorite destination in Belgium. It has attractive looking architecture, pretty streets and charming looking canals. It is quite touristy though. A similar place with less tourists in Belgium in Ghent. I found it very beautiful. I went to the capital city, Brussels. I loved seeing Dinant and the surrounding countryside. It was scenic there and stunningly beautiful. I found the Belgium people friendly. I made the mistake of speaking French to a Flemish person. He said please speak in English. It is moderately expensive and worth going to. I stayed in a dorm in backpacker hostels and years later a double room.
