I have one Kashmiri friend who has been living and working in here for 5 years. He told me that Kashmir is truly a heaven on this earth. I haven't been in Kashmir yet so that i really don't know it is true or not..., is it true?

Yes,it is like heaven on earth. The most beautiful place on the planet. But its not safe there.I don't think your friend really wants to kill you by sending you there.Even I will invite you to my place Kerala, aka 'Gods On Country'.Its just a formality.Save your money and time and use it to visit some less beautiful, safer places

Hello ryanong, I am from India and i have visited Kashmir once when i was a child and its really a heaven of the earth due to its natural beauty and many of the tourist now come here to visit it.But to visit Kashmir is risky as their are frequent terrorist attacks, recently which has come down as our Army/military has done lots of efforts to control it.Recently my younger brother has gone to visit Kashmir and he told that now it is not that risky and one can visit it and enjoy there.

Yes that's true my brother came back today from AMARNATH Yatra and he told it that still more of a military people are seen there than tourists and that is the main reason of peace there these days. But still you can visit there just inform army personnel for your visit.

I haven't been there either, and I won't take your friend's word for it. If he says it's like heaven there, I'll try and see the place myself and critique. There are many places that seem like heaven on Earth, actually. There is also a place in my hometown that's great to visit if you really wanna relax, and just enjoy your day with nature. I wasn't even aware of that place til I was 18. My uncle took me there because he had a project near the area, and he let me stayed on the house they had there, more of a rest house. The place was so peaceful. All you hear are birds chirping, leaves of trees because of the wind, and grass. I can sleep all day staying there.

hihihi, no heaven in my hometown at all i think even though i like to live in countryside...I visited some countries with nice places already...but i haven't seen any place that looks like a heaven yet...that's why i am very excited to know how the heaven is when my friend said Kashmir is a heaven in this earth.... Based on what you describe about that place, i can imagine how beautiful and peace it is...

It's a figure of speech. I can also say "I've gone to a bar last night. It is a hell in this earth!" OR "There's a lot of angels in my town. They are scattering blessing to every family!"

I used to travel to some countries where there is no terrorism and i didn't travel alone also. It is not safe for a woman traveling alone, i know it. Hmm, then i may travel to thailand instead of going to Kashimir.

Kashmir is a very good place with different scenes and with different food types. This place is totally different from all other countries becuase the place is covered with snow and more over there is a lot of scenes over there. I feels this as an golden opportunities and I hope you don't miss it.
