to the malls during summer

Summer is over but still the heat is here.Most of the time, I go inside malls before and after I go home. Malls has something that the streets and the way to my boarding house doesn't have--aircon!
Some people do the same-- hanging out in malls because of the aircon. Do you do the same?

I still do that even now that it's rainy but I don't go for the AC. It's to pass the time while waiting for the rain to stop.
A lot of people do that. The malls have replaced the natural scenic spots as recreation area although some still prefer the former.

For us summer is just starting and the temp are already sky high! I'm melting in my sit!
Going into malls, banks, stores in a known way to survive the heat in the streets. Actually I know a store in my town that in making a living out of it. They put a very strong air-condition and a sitting place. They tell everyone there are welcome in just to sit down & drink some (free) water. They know that once you are in - the chance you will actually buy something is much greater.

Haha really! In today's business world where everybody is working for a living (with global warming a problem), an 'AC store'is a need.
I can foresee 'cooling boxes' every block in my town in the next ___ years(!) and owners calling "Relieve yourself, 5minutes at $1 !"
But the Lord forbid! May man solve this global warming problem before its too late!

That's what we do! We go to the park when it's not yet hot then we transfer to the malls for relief from heat. No need to eat ice cream!
