Today. That was it. It was just so many things i need to accomplish, glad i was able to follow my system of working and put it all in steps so i could get all reports done right on time. I am feeling quite proud even as i was able to do it all though my hands, eyes hurts a lot! sometimes you just have to right? and if you put your mind into it, you do get things done the way you want it. patting my shoulders right now.

I have been in many situations where I have had so many that I did not know what to do first. Now I don't really have a system that I use. Usually what I do is I will work on one thing first until get exhausted with it. Or go until something changes and I have to switch to something else. I mainly try to go with the flow of things. If getting something done a little late happens it's okay. Better to get something done late than not at all.

yes, this happened to me too especially now that i am a stay at home mom. whenever my husband goes to work, my baby and I are left alone in our apartment. i would take care of our little one and do other chores all at the same time. sometimes, i do not know what to do first, especially when baby is fussy or not sleepy. whenever he falls asleep, i would start with a chore like cook dinner perhaps. but sometimes, i have just started with it when he wakes up so i have to attend to him first. there are times even when i am unable to do chores during the day until my husband arrives. once he arrives, he would help me take care of our baby and i do all my pending chores at night. it's a tough one but yes, all you have to do is be organized and know your priorities first. it's fun being a plain mom and wife but of course, in everything, there's trials and hardships but all you need to do is enjoy life and be happy. :-)

yes, correct, you have to be organized in everything that you do. :-) my baby is only 8 months old so he is in the stage wherein he's learning a lot of new things and milestones in his life, he's started to crawl too so i couldn't leave him alone in the room, otherwise, he would explore the room and might go into an accident. there was a time even that he fell off the bed, i felt so bad. i don't want it to happen again so everytime we're together, i would watch over him over other things first. when he falls asleep, that's the time i would do other stuffs. :-)

Sounds like you had a very productive day. You must be tired after all the things but I could say it's a job well done so congratulations. I envy you, seriously. I could not put myself to do things as planned. I have this disease called "indolence" and I can't seem to cure myself off it. It's like whenever I have everything planned out great and come time to execute them I get tired just thinking about the things to do. Sometimes, I even get tired in the planning stage. It's something I really want to clean out of my system as soon as possible and I mean really soon, especially now that I am back to school and have other matters to attend to. Anyway, congratulations and keep up the good work!

Oh it always happens to me my friend whenever I am already in front of my laptop. Especially whenever I am "absent" even for a day doing some online works from all the sites I am in and earning from. I am so always in a hurry 'cause I have limited time here as I have things to do at home especially now that my youngest is attending school already. And sometimes I can't finish what I am suppose to finish because I don't know what to do first. I always have the habit of going to different sites and then I noticed it is already one hour and voila,I haven't done anything yet, waaa! All I did was browsing sites,oh my!

It is nice when you can handle your works well. In fact we can solve all work step by step, just keep our mind in calm and think what we should do first, what we should do next...I used to be in busy works like that ..and luckily i could solve it all...it is a nice feeling when we can complete all works...

Like now, I am planning to read some books but I want to watch movie or do mylotting...I don't really know what will I do first since I want to do all of those now. I just came from my night shift duty and even though I am sleepy already...I need to get those thing done first before that. Well now, I am currently on mylot...but I would go over with my book like minutes after this. Happy Mylotting!

Yeah jazel_juan, I had experienced such very situation many times. I have my own daily schedule actually. Disappointed that unexpected things would happen at time. The extra errands or jobs come in a sudden. All my schedules have turned to be messy and could hardly find any suitable way to cope with which one initially I must keep myself calm. I peaceful mind would let me deal with it one by one effectively. Strained and work at high pressure would turn thing worse for sure. I usually will rearrange everything again according to situation. And I never fail to accomplish them so far Happy posting

That's great, we share the same status and experience when it comes to work. I have a lot of things to do as an employee, a business women and as a mother. All things and jobs when you look at it are very much frustrating particularly if you have to do it yourself. The only inspiration that keeps me going is GOD on which I put on everything. Everyone deserves a pat on our shoulder just to remind ourselves that we did a good job.. happy days!!

Yes, the trick is to get organized and then it is smooth sailing. I was lucky to have a mother who was very organized and could do math in her head. She taught me some of her techniques, they work great. You should be very proud of yourself and continue patting. hehehe

Ha ha - that sounds like me EVERYDAY! I have two kids that are 7 and 2 ... and while they have to be occupied, I still have to do things around the house (especially now since we moved into our first house - there is still a lot of unpacking to do). And then the kids have their separate schedules - so we are out driving to and fro in the car as well. Meanwhile things have to be cleaned, meals have to be cooked, and other errands have to be done. I used to make a list of things to do and check them off, but in my shoes right now there is no point. I do what I can do these days - ha ha - and if I get one major thing done during the day - I'm satisfied - ha ha!

way back when I was new to my previous job. I was left all alone in my first week. No instructions was left to me so I really don't know what to do. Everyone is counting on me so the pressure pushes me so so hard. I just stayed focused. My objective is to get me priority. I need to prepare the documents for vehicles repairs and other things to follow. Now, that I am no longer working for them they always find me. They want me back.

I have experienced that same situation when I was still working under the human resources department. My boss and one of our staff were on study leave that time and I was left alone to do all their jobs. I could not even brush my hair that time. I usually list all the things I have to do in a small peace of paper and just update them every time there are new ones. I put that over my table and would just cross out one by one after finishing the task. I think that it is really possible to finish them all if you are really eager to do it. But if I knew myself that I can't do them all on time, I would definitely prioritize the most needed ones.

Yes, exactly what I feel of being in the teaching profession. Right now, I am having my ProfEd for 2 days in the weekends and weekdays will be my working day. Since I am working in a private school, it entails to be competitive in terms of the subject matter and on the required things to be passed like paper works. Because of the preoccupied things in my mind, I really don't know where to start doing things enqued in my list of priorities. Since I am workaholic person, I indulge with things eventhough if those are tiring. This is for myself and for my family of course. Good thing is that I am provided with an opportunity to earn a living. Well, I guess I would say Goodluck to myself.

The days are getting passed away. As the days passes the loads on my heads is getting increased on each days. I feel very difficult to complete each of the task in right time. Lack of time and ignorance of managing the time is the one of the problem which most of them faces. Managing the time well by giving suitable time for specific time for each of the tasks can help you to complete your things in time with best of the results

time management is really important, when there are tasks that are hard, i often set a time for me to start it and time when i should finish doing it.

Yeah. I sometimes have that habit. In cases like this, I have to write them things I want to do before I start doing them. I can get very clumsy when I am very preoccupied. Maybe the best thing to do is first rest and organize your mind.

Well, it always happens to me. Every time when my school is throwing those projects to us, I really have no idea at all where to start and what is the most important thing to do. Most of the time I will just wait and ask my friends and see how they are doing them. Then only I will take action and try to finish them my own. I know that it is not a good attitude, but sometimes I really don't understand what does the prof want from us and what am I supposed to do in that project.

Back then when i was in high school, in order for me to be able to finish everything, i would jot it down and rate it to the order of its importance, i would do the ones that are the hardest and the ones i needed to do first as it was due at this certain time.
6 Jul 12
yes, i was stressed out the end of the day ...hehehehee...i even had a list and even try to do these things at the same time...

I think everyone has days like these. I had a lot of these days and sometimes i was very nervous and angry on me because i let many things on the last day and wasn't sure if i would have time for everything. But the most important thing is to calm and start doing them. I usually begin to do the easier stuff and then do the harder stuff. How to you act in these situations. Do you the hard or the easy thing first?

usually i do the hardest part first, so i could focus on it more and if ever problems occur then i would still have ample time to go and fix it
