I need some ideas...

A story about someones home burning is boring to you? Why don't you do a story on the history of firefighters or the worst fires in history. Fire from a science standpoint. Or a fantasy story about fire on a personal level. There are alot of options. What would you like to read about?

Why not just a simple story of how fire saved a dying boy freezing in the cold? You know, something along the little match girl but with your own twist. Too many people talk about the dangers of fire, but it can save apart from destroy. It's a matter of perspective.

You could write about how fire was first "tamed" and used to keep warm. It could be quite an elaborate fictional treatment based on what might have happened. Fire has been man's friend as well as man's foe over the years.

Recently seen a TV show on discovery channel,"I shouldn't be alive". Once a person was lost in a jungle due to a plane crash and to survive from the wild animals he has to burn fires around to get protected. Thus here the fire plays an important role to safeguard his life. Isn't it a different story. Have you seen. Fire too plays an important role in our day to day life.e.g.destroying garbage,which is good for society and the atmosphere.
