She was the love of our lives and loved everyone. she ran out the house in front of a speeding car and died. The neighbor that killed her had nothing to say or even a care in the world about us losing a very dear loved one. I miss my dog very much.

I am so sorry for your loss! What could your neighbor do? Of course he could have drove slower but you don't know if the dog could escape even with a low speed.
The problem is you should have secure the doors so that she couldn't escape and run out of the house in front of the speeding car.

Oh NO! I am so so so sorry for your loss. I wish you all the best. She must have been a very very special dog for you to miss her so. People like your neighbor are insensitive and toxic. It is hard to believe, until we meet them in real life. But they exist, these cruel, drudges of society, who have no feelings for others. Eliminate them from your life, if possible. Never spend time around such unfeeling and cruel people. My best to you, I mean that, Take Care...

That is very sad! I had a dog when living in New York that got loose and ended up with the same tragic ending. I still get sad when I think of my Brandon :(

I am so sorry. My dog is a part of our family too I cannot even imagine the pain your going through. =(
As for the neighbor, wow people have no emotions or heart these days I swear they don't. I would have felt so bad and so guilty if I accidently hit any animal. I would have tried so hard to make up for it. That is terrible that your neighbor had no remorse.
I am sorry again for your loss.

I am sorry to hear this. I feel that my housepets are so well-treated that they are a bit naive and do not know fear. They haven't really faced danger. I am sorry to hear about your loss. Sounds like she was a great companion. I recently lost my cat and was devastated because she moved around with me and I had chosen her from a human society in a completely different city. best wishes~~
