Not too long ago I spent 72 hours, almost strait in front of a computer. All that time, and I had nothing to show for it, except for beating a game. I wish I had this kind of time and energy now, I would put those hours to good use. Just think of the money that can be made in that time on the internet. How much could you make? Have you ever spent this long in front of the computer?

I am used to spend more than 10-15 hours daily on the computer. 8-hours while in office and the remaining time while I am at home. At home I spend my time mostly on the online income earning websites.

I was once on my lappy for almost 3 days with a break of couple of hours in between for routine jobs while i was hard pressed against time to complete my project. That was too tiring a job but I did it without much problem.

Years ago...okay it was 1995....and I am a grand mother....my brother gave my son DOOM PC game. He played it and was good and I was home and got into it..giving myself full live and weapons always...and I took my kids to school one morning...came home and started the game...and looked at my watch and I was 10 minutes late PICKING THEM UP!!! I couldn't believe it! 7 hours straight! I mentally slapped myself silly for being so stupid and forgetting my kids over a stupid game! Did I "win"? well,, I got to the final level and did "win"...and was disgusted that all I "won" was...nothing! No banners, fireworks, points..NOTHING! It was then that I looked at my watch! Those games can be addicting and you can spend alot of time on them! Just be careful!!! If it can happen to someone like me...at my age and my not much interested in them attitude...it can happen to anyone!

Yes a lot of my days were spent playing diablo 2 for days at a time. I was so addicted that I took stay awake pills to play, and spent hundreds of dollars on gear. Now diablo 3 is out and I'm saving for a better computer to play it.

The longest that I've done was 39 hours in the library and in front of the computer. I was preparing a group project with my colleagues and we were writing and making calculations all day and all night. I also had no food because I didn't have time to go out and eat so I was eating doritos chips from the venting machine of the library! It was a day that I'll always remember, at the end we were able to finish on time and we also go a distinction so it was worth it!

It was the student library and it was open 24/7! It didn't allow eating hot food but we could eat cold snacks and dring juice and coffee. I had my own account for the computer and I would use it for free because all the projects needes online internet connection which was also free! Didn't you have a library like this at your university?
