Fruit flies do multiply rapidly. They were our biology project because they were one of the insects that were easy to multiply. I hate these insects too!

Yes they do multiply if you have sweet fruits around. I experience that when I have ripe mangoes, bananas or any sweet fruits on the fruit stand. So the best way is to cover them or better yet them put inside the refrigerator and the fruit flies will all disappear for sure.

Fruit flies are brought into the house by the smell of certain fruits. Obvious? No, not at all, because they are not attracted to all fruits. They particularly like bananas and sweet plums. So, keep these fruits in the refrigerator, or eat them immediately. Don't keep any fruit out in the open, even if covered, because the smell will keep the flies coming.

Flies are the ones which transmit diseases from one place to another. They becomes the ones of the reason for the spreading the diseases. To stay away from such spreading diseases it is very important to stay away from them. Spraying sprays is the one of the best method to keep away from us.
