Do you haggle when you shop?

I haggle if it's allowed. That is why it is more nice to shop in bargains and markets rather than going to Malls. Some says it's embarrassing but also think that the seller would not give a discount or a free item if they will not earn from it. So if they allow you to haggle it means that they can still earn from it right?

My mother somewhat perfected the art of haggling and I kinda learned when I was watching her when we shop. She always take me to market trips and thrift shops so I kinda imitated her method. Now, I do haggle most of the time even though I am not nowhere near effective as my mother. However, I am happy that I got to practice and learn that you can always have a good product for a good price.

Oh yes, I always haggle especially if it's reasonable. And I do it outside. I can't do it inside (malls/supermarkets) as they claim the price is fixed. I'm not at all embarrassed bargaining as most is doing it. In the first place,it's a way of saving. In my country, it's almost a trend to raise the price of goods because vendors expect that every customer will ask for a lower price. In the end, we end up at the right price (nothing was really deducted) haha

I never haggle, as I find it embarrassing to do it myself. On the other hand, if someone I am with starts haggling, I don't mind, I even quite admire them.

You know there is no shopping in most of our areas without haggling. Most of the shop keepers know it and they keep prices accordingly. While its not printed or non standard product without price tag the price it according to look of of the customer. Therefore there is no choice but to make a lot of haggling and have it at right price.
