Plumbers are an essential part of life. A necessity not a luxury. When you have water flowing out of you toilet and you can't stop it or you can't get the water to go down the toilet. A plumber is your best friend. However, I see them touch toilets soiled with feces and urine like it's a clean toilet. I have never seen them use gloves. I have never seen one wash there hands. The other day we had an overflow from our toilet. The water was not clean. The man lifted up the seat with his bare hand, with feces all on the floor and toilet. He proceded to fix the problem. When they took lunch they never stopped to wash their hands. I'm grateful for their services at $135.00 an hour and $30.00 every half hour after that. From my experience, 50% of the plumbers I have encountered are great people, but I honestly cringe when thinking about what they do with their hands and what they don't do with their hands. Would you ever date a plumber?

No I would not as I am married. ;)
But that is disgusting. uuuh!!!!
But not everyone is like that. So don't judge all plumbers against that std.

I don't mean to judge them as human beings. I just can't see them touching me. I understand it's something I need to work on. I'm a clean freak. Germs and me don't get along. Do you know that there are several strains of Hepatitis? A, B, C, D, E and I believe F too.

It has been my experience also that plumbers are not the cleanest guys around. I've had work done in my home and it is really upsetting to have to clean up the mess behind them. They seem very disrespectful of your home.
Thinking of who not to date, morticians come to mind. Their work just seems so morbid. (I expect a comeback like "Morticians need love, too.")However, after watching SIX FEET UNDER on HBO, that profession seems a little more humane - but not much.
