When I was between one to two months pregnant with my first baby I longed to have a pet rabbit. A week after my husband brought me one pair of rabbit, without him knowing that I want to have one. We both took care of the pair until they gave birth of six little bunnies. They multiplied until I gave birth and noticed that my baby has a small slit under her nose with small white hair. after that my liking to the rabbit disappear so I just gave them away. Was it a coincidence? How do you call this kind of pregnancy?

I just shake my head at people who dont consider animals and this shows how selfish and inconciderate you are. I see so many get animals while they are pregnent, and toss them when the child is born. Animals are just like children, and you have to treat them like that. I think you should have animals to begin with, this is why shelters are so full of unwanted animals. You think you going to plop the kid beside a rabbit and its going to be all cuddle and nice. If they feel threatened they will do things to get away its instinct. For example my friends got a middle aged cat never been around kids they got it for their 1 year old kid (genious idea) and the kid was smacking it, sitting on it, and just abusing it. The cat turned around and scratched the kid and they toss the cat over their balcony. Just shows how stupid people are, and if you get a pet its for life, not when something comes up you get rid of it. I'm not going to go on about the breeding either just shows how irresponsible of a pet owner you are.

It was not a coincidence nor related to the rabbit both your husband is taking cared off. It just so happened that when you deliver your baby he has that kind of slit under her nose with small white hair on it. You do not have to worry about that small slit because it can be operated right away for the baby is still small.

So you mean your baby bears the same slit and hair as that of a rabbit? That does not sound weird anymore. I've heard stories of that sort although not exactly the same. We can't really tell how it happens. It is such a big mystery but it teaches us some lesson. Next time when you are pregnant avoid looking at animals again.

They the hospital tell you what the split was? Upper lip cleft? But I do know that when you are pregnant you are not really suppose to be cleaning a dirty rabbit cage. When I was pregnant with my son, I had ferrets and the doctor told me to stay away from the litter box. The urine could cause birth defects. I wasn't long shipping them off to my uncles farm for the remainder of my pregnancy. He took good care of them until I was able to take them back.
