At noon the screen was suddenly frozen and it had no response even if I moved the mouse or hit the keyboard. Then I turned off my computer. Then I turned on the power but the sreen was still black even if there was a power signal shown. I can see a bigger sound from the computer fan but that's all. The computer didn't boot at all. I am so afraid that the hard disk out of work. Now I have to use another computer in the office and waited for someone to fix it. Hopefully the hard disk is alright

I just experienced a major computer problem a few days back and I’m still recovering. Try to reboot your computer. If you can reboot, choose the safe mode option and try to find out the error. Usually, the computer provides what kind of error and you can search for the solution for the error itself. However, if your computer does not boot, there might be serious problems like hard drive failure or OS failure. They can be handful of reasons. In my case, it was a trial and error experience. You also need to remember what kind of sound the computer made (the beep). Some computer emit a specific sound beep for a specific error. If you ca hold of a separate computer, you can search the solutions that might be applicable to your problem. If all things fail, I recommend a technician to have a look at your machine.
hard disk failure is always the biggest worry of any comp0uter user because of your stored files, If you somehow manage to reboot, do an emergency back-up.

I suggest calling the technician. He might have a idea and also try to open the machine. Since I am not really that expert on that kind, I am not gonna attempt it even if I am in your situation. You already mentioned that somebody is looking for problems. Let’s hope it won’t be a corrupt hard disk.

Seems that you already have your problem solvedNormally people don't clean their computer fans & it causes overheating thus the auto shutdown, that is to protect your computer. I reckon yours is more of a RAM problem - maybe it was loose or it's just getting old and dying on you. Computers that normally have games played very frequently on them - both the RAM and graphics card ( VGA ) will go first

Could be your RAM, Graphics Card, Motherboard, CPU or even the PSU. I had a similar problem where my PSU went nuts and decided not to throw out enough power for the graphics. Could also be your monitor of course so if you have a spare screen try plugging that into it for a few seconds to try it.

That really sounds your hard disk is having a problem.
I also have that problem days ago and had to use another laptop.
I like my own laptop so I ask someone to check and have it fixed.
Now it is working good and I am using it again.
Hope your computer will be fine soon :)
