have u ever noticed that in most of the scifi shows are sooo fake, especially the actors haha!! im kinda watching peranaconda about an anaconda and a piranah got paired up in a lab...i guess it was an experiment gone wrong...its sooo dumb id ont know why im watching it lol! do u know of any movies that are like this? so fake? or actors that suck

OMG i started watching that show last night too. It was the scene where 3 girls were collecting a flower from the trees in the woods and one walked off and then they heard a scream. The other 2 girls are like what was that? I think that was so and so (whatever her name was) Then all of a sudden the very large very fake looking creature slithered out and attacked them. I was laughing and my hubby said you really want to watch this and i said no i just wanted to see what the thing looked like. The acting was terrible in the show too but sci fi is good for those stupid fake movies!!

Laural that was the only reason I DVR'd Piranhaconda! I just wanted to see what it looked like...it was basically a snake with a mohawk! Haha.
Did you catch Sharktopus? I dvr'd it and then skipped to all the funny attack scenes. I only ever dvr the SciFi movies so I don't have to sit through the whole thing! Haha

its more of a mixture of an huge ugly snake and..me! my nickname is piranah hehehe!! did u notice the snake cannot open its mouth as wide as a normal snake?!

I think that's half the fun though isn't it? That they are so fake.. I mean there is clearly no such thing as Spiderman etc but we all enjoy that.. I think thats the fun :)

I don't think she means fake as in not real..yes Spiderman is fake but the movie is good. It has good actors and good graphics.
By fake I think she means the graphics are absolutely ridiculous, they are obviously badly don CGI, and the actors are terrible at what they do. Which, in SciFi movies they usually are! lol

...hey chicks how are ya!? lilyofthethorns is right SORRY. u can tell its fake because how the pictures are and the actors, some of them are just not it for the big screen. i wounder what they're gonna come up with next...a piranah and an alligator?! that would be interesting to see if not hilarious

Oh my gosh! Every weekend I look to see what movies they have on SyFy! I recently recorded two movies; Piranhaconda and Sharktopus. I usually just fastforward to all the funny attack scenes, my family and I have a good time laughing at them
But just this weekend I recorded the MOST ridiculous SyFy movie I have ever seen!!!!! It was called MegaPython vs. Gatoroid. That title just says it all doesn't it?? If you wan't something to really laugh at, watch that movie!

Oh my gosh don't miss Mega Python and Gatoroid!!! Haha. It has to be the worst scifi movie I have seen to date.
But I must say, there is one movie I watched on SciFi that I didn't think was as bad as the rest, I actually enjoyed watching it. It's called Code Red: The __________ Conspiracy...I can't remember what that word is! Haha. But I think the alien guy in it looks cool. If that's ever on you should give it a shot!

That is why they are scifi movies and not Science Fiction movies. Actually there are very few real Science Fiction movies made. If you want real Science Fiction you have to read books or short stories. Even Science Fiction books and stories that are made into to movies are often turned into scifi and have lost their true Science Fiction story. Now there are some scifi movies that are still fairly good but the ones like you are describing are even very bad scifi.
