Do you think the US and China will ever go to war?

I don't think there is a tension between China and US so I don't find any reason why they would go to war. Any way I don't think America is in any position to go to war at this point in time. US should rather concentrate in building up its economy instead of going into war.

Not in the very near future, I don't think so. It would be economically unwise for the US to engage in a war with China with the former having a significant economic portfolio with the latter. Hilary Clinton somewhat made this clear when asked about the situation in the Spratley Islands, hiding on such a lame reason that the US doesn't interfere in territorial claims even if it has agreements with some countries like the Philippines that it would help in times of some foreign aggression. With regards however to US superiority, well, I'm not sure about this. I think it still is, for now.

Human beings' history is a War History. But don't be too pessimistic. Economy war is a kind of war. I think Chinese goverment wasn't too stupid to wanna be the BOSS History indecate that Boss away have a hard time. Tang Dynasty, China is the Boss, then Qing Dynasty, China was fu*cked by 8 western countries. The first industrial revolution, UK become the Boss, but after the third industrial revolution and world war II, USA become the Boss, and UK even now, sell most of their famous car brand. Now, USA suffer the threat of terrorism. Why U are the world leader? that is your due man. enjoy it. So, goverment for both China and USA couldn't fight again to make sure who is the boss.

US and China should never go to war.If this happens,it will be curtains for the world. I urge these people to settle there disputes and indifferences if there is any.Like US China should also play the role of a peace maker.Its their duty,being a super power.I don't think they are doing it the right way by helping Pakistan.I hope that China will rethink there strategy,and identify her real friends and foes.

I don't think America want a war with China. Even though America has advanced in their military technology, but china military member number is more superior. Also china now has a solid block with Rusia. If US declare war with china it will create world war 3. We can see in syria which america do not want to attack syria because rusia and china claim to protect it. And the most important think is US now in economic crisis because of that they don't want to have big war unless they are attacked.

Never! western countries are very crafty all long,not to mention America! "Proxy War" will be the most likely kind of conflict between America and China.

I don't think the USA would risk it. Besides, i would rather that there be no war because nobody really wins.

China has been showing aggression? Was it wrong to defend one's territory? And based on that you think that China is going to go to war with USA? Has China invaded any countries? USA is a world peace maker? Which country has been made peaceful by the USA? I think the US made more war than peace in the last 30 years. Or maybe this topic was a result of randomness. It could have been "Will USA and Mexico ever go to war?" or "Will USA and Cuba ever go to war?"...

I don't see America and China going to war against each other. Both have atomic weapons which is going to be a factor that decides who won Ha Ha. Probably both countries would be so contaminated it would be impossible to live there. If America launches their rockets Russia is likely to respond in case some of the rockets are programed to land on their cities. China and America are trading partners, the only problem being the lopsided balance of trade. America owes so much money to China if there was a war trade would cease immediately and both countries would go bankrupt as would the rest of the world.
