Want to Know about a brand Banana Republic.

I recently come across a name Banana Republic a brand name for trousers. Think it is an American Brand. Want to know more on this... like pricing, quality, how long since they are in the field. Does anyone used the brand Apparels? Please share your info.

I do work in an Optical retailing company that carry and sell branded frames and sunglasses and we do have Banana Republic.So far, Banana Republic frames are quite good in terms of quality, designs and longevity so I guess their apparel is good too.

OMG...it seems BANANA REPUBLIC is a brand that deals with lots of things. I came across men's trousers and wanted to know about it. But from your post I understand that they are doing in Optical line too. Thanks for the info ardoy0731... nice to get your response.

I like Banana Republic. They are a more high end version of Gap basically. Similar to Express but geared at a more mature crowd I would think. They are a bit expensive if you ask me ($40 for a shirt? Nah), but whenever I can find Banana Republic blouses & pants at the thrift store or a consignment second-hand shop, I always pick them up! I feel like they have a much better quality than a lot of other brands. But that could be just me. I like a lot of their business casual type clothes.
