Are you aware that today (July 6) is International Kissing Day? Originated in United Kingdom. This is to remind everyone the simple pleasures associated with kissing.
This simple deed is simple yet will make a difference to every relationships.
It's not as commercialized as Valentines day but can be meaningful to all of us if we learned that today is International Kissing Day. Let's make everyday a kissing day just to show how we care.
Any thoughts? Have you kissed someone lately?

I have never heard about the International Kissing Day. It seems that today there are quite a lot of interesting new holiday. I am surprised that the businessmen didn't promote to sell in this special day. It shall be a good chance to increase the business.
I love China

Hi mikyung, this is the first time I read about it, thanks for the info. Anyway I kissed my husband today many times when he arrived home from office and before he leave the house. I agree with you we should kiss our love once everyday to show our love and care to them.

Being a married woman, I definitely do kiss my husband every single day of my life. Also being that I am a mother with two younger children at home, I give them kisses all the time as well. These three people are the most important people in my life and it is important to me to make sure that they do realize the depth of the love that I have for them.
One of the reasons that I think showing affection for those that we love is so important is because of the fact that we never know when those people will be taken away from us.

Oh? Shame I'm stuck at home with no one here! Well, I have given both of my dogs a kiss on their heads and they've given me plenty in return (although not on my head, they prefer to kiss my face... all over my face. lol).
Since my marriage is all but over, there won't be any kissing going on between my husband and myself, today or any day. To him, a kiss means I want, uhh, something else. He can't understand the simple pleasure of a kiss and only a kiss. It's a real shame. I won't get to kiss anyone today. Well, my son is living here (he's 28) and I give him lots of hugs (I'm from a hugging family) but rarely kiss him unless he's leaving the house. I've always given my kids a kiss and a hug whenever they were going out somewhere because you just never know if that will be the last time you see them or not.
If I had someone in my life that I could love dearly (and who loved me back), I would be more than happy to make every day a kissing day. I've been a very affectionate person most of my life and still could be. I just need the right incentive.

I did it everyday, my way of greeting my wife every morning just after I wakes up. I'm not aware of this International kissing day, anyway thanks for sharing it to us. Well, kissing your partner or simple peck on the cheek to any of our love ones is a good gesture to show that we really cares for them.
