The Amazing Spider-Man - Opinions?

Hi friends,
I watched this movie today on 3D at my nearby multiplex. We went together in a group and were really excited about the film. The ticket price we paid was quite high but after watching the movie I think it was totally worth our money. I found it truly amazing! I was on the edge of my seat during the action sequences and what I really liked apart from the fresh cast and interesting story-line was the fact that the villain lends a helping hand to the hero in the end. I am still very excited after watching this movie and have been thinking of it ever since.
So friends, did you watch this movie? Please share your opinions on the film. I would be glad to read what you have to say about this film. Did you find it as amazing as the name goes?

Wow.. We all were waiting for the arrival of new spiderman. I am sure that it will rock all around the world. We are planing to go for the film in the coming week ends. I am sure that it will be a great entertainer for us. Now I am unable to post more about the movie. I will be back after seeing it.

I have considered seeing the new Amazing Spider Man movie as I have learned that it was not being made by the old Spider Man franchise, which I never liked.
I would suggest that in the future when posting a movie review, you may want to include a 'Spoiler Alert' in the beginning when you intend to share a part of the movie. I would have avoided reading this had I known you would reveal the end.

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the movie. The only problem with it was, I went to see it with my boyfriend. He has read EVERY Spiderman comic, apparently, and was ripping the movie apart on the way home.
That's not to say that he didn't enjoy it, but he saw a few discrepancies between the movie and the comics. He also noticed a few tie-ins to the old Spiderman movies that I didn't see. Apparently, they made this movie with the idea that they could (someday) do a major crossover between the Avengers and Spiderman (possibly involving the Mutant Registration Act episode).
Very excited to see what they do end up doing with this movie, though. I would LOVE to see a sequel.

My boyfriend is like that too. He starts analyzing a movie critically if he has read the book/story on which it is based. But thankfully I went with friends this time. Glad to hear that you guys enjoyed the film. I am looking forward to a sequel too and the idea of the crossover seems incredible!

I haven't seen the new Spider-Man yet but it does look good. I saw the original ones and i thought they were done real well. I loved the effects. I still think that the Spider-Man movies were done better then all the Batman and Superman movies combined.
