hi jerzgirl look some of the discussions with no or just one or two responses are because for awhile yesterday and the day before a glitch was not letting us post to them at all. they took my response and d umped it and returned me back to the discussion again. so it could be that glitch affected your discussion too. I was shocked, lamb had one I wanted to respond to and it would not take my response at all. so it might not be that your discussion is boring at all but that something is not letting us post responses to it.

hi it was so odd when I first started being able to post my responses some discussions had only three and those I could not get my responses posted to. one was lamb and usually he gets umpteen responses.yes I know about not calling attention but could be they also were caught in that glitch. hope so and now people can respond.

I had that problem for a while, but then I started getting responses on the more recent discussions and being able to respond as well. I went back to the ones I had wanted to respond to earlier and posted my responses at last. But, I have about six discussions that were earlier in the problem that no one has commented on and we're not allowed to bring attention to them. Of course, they may say I'm doing this, but that isn't why i'm bringing it up. It's just that they were affected most likely by the problem and then got lost down the list as time went on.

hi bunnybon and ravi oh i am so glad I can again get responses and comments to post. I also steer away from those questions asking do you like to eat this or that as they are poll discussions and I finally learned to avoid them like the plague. this one was a good one and a lot of us responded to it too; Me I amn so happy and why because I had a different care taker padding out desserts and I got a dish of real cherry ice cream,not the usual sugar free fat free taste free diabetic ice c ream. lol lol oNce in a great awhile I can eat some real ice cream and not screw up my blood glucose. congrats on being first Bunnybon. lol lol

hi se7enthbird yes it is and gives us plenty of scope.some of my fondest mermories are holidays when I c ooked and my p arents came to my house to eat and my mom cooked and we and the two kids went to their house.still have those good memories although my parents and younger sister are all deceased now.

its really nice to reminisce those days. People think that eating its just a normal routine to do. What they don`t know is that they can do it extraordinary each day. I guess you just need to appreciate the people and the bond that happens during eating time. In our tradition, eating together is really a must. Though there are people that does`nt want to speak during eating time, its more like their respect in what they are doing

hi celticeagle you are so right,.most posting about being bored here are young people too lazy or too busy . so they think,to look around and find'oddles of great discussions I know they would like if they just found them and read them.

But they won't take the time. Like a vicious cycle.

hi dorannmwin do not feel bad if some do not seem to get responses as I have still found several recent discussions where I wrote a response and hit post response and it brought me back to the discussion but my response had not posted., this person had only one response yet I know she generally gets many more.I think mylot still has a few scattered glitches.you always write great discussions and I do really try to respond too.

hi pakah and ravusuvab a hint instead of saying what do you think about blah blah as your title,just show yourself thinking about something'then going on to explain in your discussion and ask "mylotters, whats your take?" I have never had a discussion deleted when I take this approach. just do not start withna question asking everyone in the world what do you think about such and such? those always get deleted.As I first came here I wrote several sad discussions asking why I did not get responses and the lady who helped me explained that i was the new kid on the block so I shou ld respond a lot then they will remember my u ser name and respnd to my discussions too. it did work.also start with the title it must not raise a question like a poll so reword your topic so it makes a discussion instead.

pahak you are right. A few members are able to raise N number of topics. Whereas a few like us struggle to get a new one. Again it depends on creativity, thinking and willingness to share and learn. good day.

yes she is a college girl and told abou t how she did all the cooking for her mom on her vacation from college, she really did get the responses as she did not complain but really seemed to enjoy having cooked for her mom. her mom was busy in some sort of office work at home on the computer. my son used to do that for awhile work at home for this company;

hi youless Ian impressed as I have no notion of how to do a blog but I hear its a lot of fun and can also be helpful from what 'you are saying. recipes are a lotof fun to share and to try o ut too. I do not get to cook here but I used to and I seldom ate out so I saved money and ate better too. lol

hi bhanusb yes they really are as all of us love to eat and some of us love to cook too. Yes cooking is an art. My husband loved to cook and he made the best beef stew I have ever tasted, He browned he meat first and that gave it more flavor too.You should try to learn a few simple things though just to say I know how to cook this. lol loll

thats it blue65packer we just need to be a little creative and go to tabls we have not tried before. I have no trouble in topics as I have lived a long life so can borrow from my own life and as nobody else has had my particular life it is a fresh subject. lol lol lol.I like to always comment back to all of you who have been kind enough tp[ respond, and I believe you do that too do you not? hi much2 say yes when it comes to food a lot of us do get interested and I was as I was surprised the young woman spent her c ollege vacation in the kitchen and happily so good on her. me I at a young age might have opted for something different. hi ajk thanks for the compliment yes 51276 as I am trying to take advantage today of the quadruple earnings and taking care to stay within the rules too. I noticed the othed day I lost 5 resp;onses as he discussions were deleted so guess I was not careful as I thought I was being. lol. I think a lot of newbies just scare themselves trying to think of a good topic when if they just looked in their own lives would find all sorts of topics.

hi kashmeresmycat long time no see. yes we all have to eat and a lot of us, not me now, have to cook it too. everyone can relate to a subject like that. I also do a lot more responding than making discussions as I have to comment back to all responses as I feel its rude to do otherwise. I remember responding to some of your discussions and they were always fun to respond to too.

hee hee pikey oh yes baked cellphone that would need a sauce. someone the other day said "what you do not have a cell p hone?" like I had said I had a contaggious disease. well I do not gad about a lot so a landline on a senior plan at A T and T does me just fine.He even offered me a discount. I said no.thanks anyway.

ravi you know I do believe the best cooks are men.myhusband loved to cook.While he was recuperating from colon cancer surgery I had to go to work full time so when I would get home he had the best dinners fixed for me.I loved his beef stew, I could make it good bu t his was even better. He loved cooking and did cook for a living for quite awhile. He would get really upset because at the time we were living in Tempe Arizona and he would walk in to the kitchen where he was to cook and find rancid oil and dirt everywhere and cockroaches too.he reported several to the dept of health and they did close them down at once. people eating were told the restaurant was closing and their money would be refunded.'after all if the kitchen is dirty and full of roaches the food could make people ill.

hi suni I do like your post, you have a right to say what you think and feel as thats what mylot is about. I am a diabetic and have to figure out all the time what is healthy for me to eat and what will not shoot u p my blood sugar.so in my discussions on food it will show how I feel about certain foods that are bad for all of us. if we were all alike in our responses it wou ld be a very boring world, suni
