These past few years, I have gotten to see three movies about three presidents that have really further peaked my interests in how presidents have lead this country. The three movies were: W, Bobby, and Frost/Nixon. These movies have made me think how presidents are known for infamous decisions that they've made throughout their presidency, and also, how sometimes, their personal lives have influenced the type of decisions that they've made. Although these movies are fictional interpretative accounts of how they presidents can be seen, nevertheless, they strike a chord of the comparable reality of how presidents run these country. The movie that I found most interesting was Frost/Nixon. For those who don't know about the Frost/Nixon interviews, they are an intricial part of presidential, political, and television history. David Frost did a three day interview with Richard Nixon--asking about what went on with his presidency. These interviews are vital into viewing how Nixon tried to cleverly avoid certain topics that Frost would bring up until Frost brings up on the third day about Nixon's responsibility in covering up some matters concerning Robert Coloson. That's when Nixon admitted that, "When the President does it, it does not mean it is illegal." We all know that the President of the United States has a certain amount of power. The question becomes...on the president spectrum, what president do you believe has used his power for the good of the people? And what president do you think has abused this power and let the people down?
