starring Jonah Hill and Channing tatum.. i thought every scene was hilarious. A story about new cops going undercover in high school to find out who the source of a new drug is.. And Tatum's get up in high school was so funny. I wasn't even aware that there was a tv series.. good cameos near the end too, i was so shocked.

Even I didn't know 21 Jump Street was taken from a television series until I accidental came across the television series in imdb.
After coming to know about the series I realized why Johnny Depp & Peter DeLuise appeared in the cameo.
The movie is worth watching, I have to get hold of the 5 seasons of the 21 Jump Street television series and see how it is ...

yes! i found out that 21 jump street was a series, and that johny depp stared in it. i didn't know that 21 jump street was a comedy. it's on netflix now i think. maybe, not. i must try to check it out.

I enjoy this movie too. They like given a chance to go back to their High School and recreate what was wrong.

I have mixed feelings about this movie because it seems like another case of taking TV drama and making it into a comedy. The original TV show, by the way, helped put Johnny Depp on the map. Depp was also in another movie that took a TV drama and made it into more of a comedy. (Dark Shadows).
