Religious People who won't Quit

One thing that really annoys me are religious people who won't quit. Now don't get me wrong I don't care if people are religious. I am just tired of religious people trying to force religion onto others who don't want it. These religious people think that if another person is not religious or what not they are going to some kind of hell. So they think that they have the right to force there religion down other peoples throats in the hopes that they will become religious as well. What really really annoys me is when these people get worse and worse thinking that they are in the right to do what they do.

People whether they are religious or not do not misbehave. Of course they do and we all make huge mistakes. There is being enthusiastic, zealous or assertive about something, about anything and there is being too pushy about it. I am thinking about sales people for example.
This is meant to be only a helpful suggestion for anyone reading this topic and wanting a suggestion and only meant to be contributive. If you do not want to communicate don’t. Just don’t go into the religious topics if you don’t really want to interact with those topics.
Without knowing it is my belief that anyone that questions what a religious person might say or do is actually questioning religion and therefore involved with religion which is ok, but only if you want to be involved.
Some religions like the Jehovah's Witness Society have a mandate to go forward to seek those that want to study the bible with them. If you do not wish to study with them at your door simply tell them you don’t wish to. Sometimes you need to say the words though clearly though it need not be impolitely.
I like talking to the people that come to my door every so often. I tell them I like talking about the bible which is true and that I do not want to have a formal bible study with them. We just chat for a while at the door about the bible. My neighbour does not like me talking to them which she has showed me by slamming her door going inside her home but that is her business. These people have never really bothered me.
I do not allow anyone to shove something down my throat be it their religion or their viewpoints about anything including what religious people should do or not do with their beliefs. I just listen and give in exchange my beliefs.
I actually find sales people a lot worse than any religious person. They just keep going on and on and I’ve had a few at my door that have been rude. I do agree though misbehaviour from anyone is not correct and we shouldn’t have to tolerate it.

Oops sorry did it again that was a long one, sorry. First line is

should have been
People whether they are religious or not, do misbehave.
It is good having discussions even about rants.

As a Christian, I do feel I should share my faith with everyone, but even I know that when people aren't going to listen, they aren't going to listen, so I leave them alone.

I totally agree!!! I am a Christian (a Presbyterian, to be specific) and I always will be a Presbyterian. I am comfortable with my religion, and I am going to stick with it for the rest of my life. However, there are other Christians (Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Fundamentalists, Southern Baptists) who have tried to convert me to their brand of Christianity. I've had to get pretty tough with some of them.
I've recently been hanging out with a group of Canadian Muslims. I've attended a few events, gone to a few dinners, and in a couple of weeks, I'm going to a workshop they're putting on for recognizing and reporting hate crimes. I love my time with them, because it's the closest I'll ever come to a religion different from mine, where NO ONE will try and convert me!!! These wonderful folks know I'm Christian. I am not going to try and change them, and they are not going to try and change me. We get along great!

Here in our country, there are Jehovah's witness who would knock on the door of our houses and would even contest on what we believe in (we are catholics). I believe that i am a religious person but i dont like it when people would force their beliefs on me, i do find that irritating as well. If there is something that i should realize, it is definitely not something that is forced.

Well, I don't have to deal with that kind of people. Though I agree that religious people can at the times be very annoying. I think that people who say that if you aren't religious you will go to hell are very inconsiderate and rude. If anything religion should come or not come naturally to you. Therefore I think it shouldn't be forced upon in any way.
